Staff is excellent. Very friendly and helpful with any questions I had. Great location close to West street, but was still very quiet at night. Rooms were clean and bathrooms were nice. Great view of the city from the rooftop

Absolutely amazing hostel. The staff were the friendliest and most helpful people we have met in our whole trip in China. The owner went above and beyond to help us organising not only our activities in and around Yangshuo but also our onward travel. The rooms were clean and beds were comfy and they are being completely truthful when they say it has the best sunrise/sunset views in the whole town. I cannot recommend this hostel enough - our only regret was not staying longer!

It is the second time I've been to this hostel and it really is home away from home! The staff/owner is a super helpful guy! First time I was there he went to great lengths trying to find my stolen camera and ultimately he accompanied me to the police station to file a report. This time he was just as welcoming. The beds are nice, it's really clean and the lounge area is lounge area is great for kicking back after a couple of busy days. I would come here a third time.

The common rooms are nice, many couches downstairs, awesome movie selection. The roof top has nice views and is a great chillout place. It's located in a quiet alley of the touristic center. Very friendly staff. The downside was the dorm. 6 beds in a small, slightly moldy room. Not enough lockers/luggage space. Only one bathroom (which is also the shower) per floor . Mosquitos were abound, even though the stuff tried to help with anti-insect incense spirals. The off season price is reasonable

It's a little difficult to find the first time, but none of it matters once you get to the rooftop and see the view. Truly amazing. We did the "Drifting" excursion and it was a bit confusing at first as far as which bus to take, etc. We got there eventually however and if you are traveling in China you probably have already experienced that. The "Drifting" is more accurately described as white water rafting and was so much fun. Highly recommended. The staff was very friendly and welcoming

The hostel has a nice rooftop and is right off of West Street which is very convenient. The only downside is that you can hear music until about 3am which makes it a little difficult to sleep. The staff was very helpful and the hostel offered a wide array of activities.

Good location near west street although light sleepers won't like late night music. Room was fine. Beware if you have booked the private room on the 5th floor. Next door is not another private for nice, quiet couples paying a lot more but a dorm room (full of drunk Brits). One of whom had bought one of those pull string bird whistles and was 'playing' it to howls of laughter until it was getting light. Totally different experience after they'd left. Bizarre, annoying arrangement. Rooftop's great

One of the best experiences I've had so far traveling China. (I stayed for 3 weeks) Pros: great layout makes for good privacy. Hot showers. Amazing rooftop, with ability to dry clothes. Great location downtown. Cons: mostly Chinese speaking travelers, not much "community." Really amazing operation they have and I loved my stay. Would def stay again. Highest rooftop in Yangshuo!

Gorgeous hostel in fantastic location, heart of Yangshuo. Staff very friendly, rooms comfortable. Difficult to find though, map provided by the hostel was hard to follow, Google couldn't locate it accurately, and be wary of locals wanting to be helpful, but not wanting to say they aren't sure, so just picking a direction with confidence! We were sent many wrong ways before someone lovely really knew where to send us.

Great staff and good sized dorms. Electrics by beds all worked. Shower was always hot. Great view from the rooftop terrace, well worth a look. Location in the middle of the town in its lively tourist area, atmospheric and convenient. Would stay again

The location is right on West Street, you can walk to everything you need. We stayed here for a week and never had to pay for transportation anywhere unless we left the city. The rooms are pretty clean and good. What you stay here for is the view. They have the tallest rooftop in Yangshuo, and we probably spent every night up there just watching the town. The staff spoke english and was super helpful. I'd recommend this place purely for the view and the location of it!

It's kind of hard to find but once you find it, you'll be glad you're staying there. It's right on Western street where everything goes down. The staff was very nice but some of them had poor English which made it kind of difficult to communicate with them. The rooms are fairly nice but the 6-bed room is not very spacious whatsoever.

This hostel has a great location and excellent rooftop view. However it is not a great hangout place or spot to meet lots of people. There is only one small common area. They do have free laundry though which is a major plus. The rooms are small but clean. There is only one bathroom for each floor. You can book all your tours through the hostel too.
