We are a canadian couple who stayed 3 nights at mr. Wei's house. It was a really great experience. We were in Hong kong the day before and to be here felt like a little oasis. At night it's quiet, you can hear the forest (the house is at the end of the street, next to a mountain). Wei and his family are very nice person, generous and helpful. Also, the food was excellent!

The hostel was in a good location for exploring Yangshuo without being in a noisy part of town. The owner was exceptionally helpful and provided us with bikes and helped us to arrange train tickets when we left. The free meals provided were some of the best food that we had eaten in China. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Really enjoyed this hostel, the owner is great and super helpful. Loved having family style dinner there every night and talking with the owner and other travelers. Hostel is located away from the town in a quiet neighborhood. Loved my stay there would definitely recommend.
