This place has a great location, is well kept, and the hosts were very friendly. The food was good and the beds were not 'too' hard. The people at the hostel are also very helpful finding the absolute most convenient tour bookings for us. I would recommend this place to anyone who would rather hear the frogs chirping than the car horns honking.

Really enjoyed our stay in Yangshuo largely due to the hostel and what was available tour wise (exploring caves and kayaking). A little on the pricey side but we were in a private room. Simon was exceptionally helpful, even came to pick us up in the middle of the night out of the blue.

A lovely, quaint hostel located a short distance from the town centre. If you're looking for some peace and quiet, but still want to be close enough to the bars and restaurants in the centre of Yangshuo.. This is perfect. Best to rent bicycles ( which you can from the hostel) as the town is a bit of a walk. Simon, the owner of the hostel, is extremely accommodating and will help you out with anything from tours to transportation. We met some great people here!

Out of town a bit... The hostel it's self is an authentic Chinese court yard. About 15/20 minutes to cycle into town. Michele the owner defiantly a bit of a character. Staff are friendly, nice place. Good for trekking and a 5 minute walk to the river front.
