This was a perfect place for us, just what we where looking for! It is located outside of Yangshuo town, which is a good thing as the Outside Inn is nicely situated in the quiet countryside away from chaos and souvenir-vendors. Our room was really cozy and the staff was very nice and helpful to us. Also, the food is really good and affordable. We ended up extending our stay and had some perfect days in the area, much thanks to Michael, Nadine, Wendy and the rest of the staff.This was a perfect place for us, just what we where looking for! A beautiful, peaceful, place. It's a little far away and hard to find when you first arrive in Yangshuo, but once you find it, it's just you and rural China...and we wouldn't have it any other way. I have just had a fantastic stay at the Outside Inn and didn’t want to leave. For my entire stay I felt like one of the family as everyone working there was so friendly (including the pet dogs!) and helpful. The food was excellent, the location is splendid and I organised all of my activities through the guest house. I would thoroughly recommend staying here. I'm an extremely satisfied customer of this awesome hostel! As promised, Western standards in a small little village right in the middle of Karst country. Wendy, one of the attendants, is extremely nice and helpful with arranging trips and answering questions. Food a bit pricey, but great! Was surprised to be treated on a first name basis, which was actually nice for a change. We stayed here last week and was just perfect!A beautiful location, out of the town so we could easily just bike around the local villages and along the river. The staff could not have been better, anything we wanted to do it seemed possible there and they were so helpful and friendly. The food and drinks were really good and reasonably priced for where we were. After being on the move for so long this was the relaxation we needed. This place is amazing. Michael and Nadine, the managers are so kind. Wendy the assistant manager was excellent at helping us set up our adventures. Amazing price, location, FOOD! and atmosphere. If you are coming to yangshuo to get out of the city and experience rural china's wonderful people, food and scenery this is the place to stay at. It's hidden, so you won't be bothered by touts everywhere you go, too (major plus!). Seriously, stay here.. this place rocks!!This place is amazing. Michael and Nadine, the managers are so kind.
