Yangshuo Travellers Land Hostel

Travellers Land Youth Hostel is a family business, designed and rennovated by Hamson six months before it opened to the first guest, in April 2011. The main goal is to offer cheap accomodation to backpackers and also give them a clean, safe place where they could meet other travellers and get a good sleep. The house is located in a quieter part of Yangshuo, called Wu Teng Xiang (which in English means a small alley).

Hamson has lived most of his life in Hengyang , where he graduated architecture and worked for five years before moving with his family which includes his daughter (Bruce) to Yangshuo. Initially Hamson was a successful tour guide in a local travel agency. The idea to open a hostel was inspired by Jack, a friend from USA who was backpacking through Europe and also through local knowledge that cheap accomodation was needed in theYangshuo area.

Travellers Land Youth Hostel is fully managed and cared for by Hamson, his partner and staff, Mo, Wenyi, Fudi. They are all experienced students, graduates, travellers and mountaineers.
