We loved our stay at Travellers we extended another three nights. It is so nice being away from West street and in more of a local area. Fantastic and cheap local restaurants nearby and supermarkets. Common room is so good to relax in and movies are shown at 9pm. Room was very comfortable, bathroom smelt occasionally but with the fan on it was better. Staff are very helpful, bike rental is great (10rmb for basic, 20 for tandem or mountain). Loved the place and Yungshuo - we will be back Hamson!!

Great service from the owner Hamson who speaks very good English. He knows where to go to avoid all the tourists, and helped us with numerous other things. We'll definitely stay here again if we come back!

We stayed in a twin private for 7 nights. Bright room w lovely view, water boiler pitcher, and typical Chinese bathroom (smelly, but normal for China.) Hamson is the guy who runs this hostel and he is GREAT!! Speaks english, helps with tours, bike rentals, everything!! He also invited us to eat w his family in the common room one night. The kitchen was decent & we cooked dinner a few times. Negatives: wifi is spotty and can be frustrating in the common room, and no wifi in individual rooms.

The room is clean. The common room is nicely decorated. The owner and the staffs are very helpful. Talk to those at the reception desk and learn something about the local culture:)

This was our favourite hostel during our three week trip in China. The room was more like a hotel room than a hostel room, the owner was very friendly. Very reasonable price and away from the tourist trap of West Street. Very authentic and peaceful, great local food nearby and cheap beers ( Chinese as opposed to Western prices). As central as West Street, but in the opposite direction, so makes for an entirely different experience. Would recommend it without hesitation.

This is a really clean hostel to stay in. I had the 8 bed dorm - really good value for money. The staff are really helpful and friendly. I can't remember the owners name but he was really helpful and gave good advice about travelling around the area. This is not a party hostel, more a place to chill out and relax. I loved the film evenings. They also hire out bikes really at a really good price.

Nice hostel, the owner was very helpful and even tried to speak German with us. Room was very big and clean. We had to walk about 10 minutes to the main street, but this doesn't matter as there are so many things to discover on the way, e. g. local food market. We would go there again.

Hansom (owner of the hostel) was very nice. I booked with him several trips for reasonable price (I was not overcharged!!). Great service. Very friendly owner.
