beautiful old house on the outside, but quite a moldy smell on the inside. great views, but average atmosphere. i was a bit disappointed.

GREAT VIEWS. At foot of Mt Eden. FREE Internet wireless. overlooking One Tree Hill (made famous by U2). FREE off-street CARPRKING. Heaters in room in winter. 5mins drive to city. Very quiet, many birdsongs. Close to Mt Eden village with restaurants and bars. Nearby foot/ car access to summit. Mt Eden is actively a dormant volcano! Summit views better than Sky Tower!
