No A/C is a problem. Hot, humid and mosquito make you hard to fall asleep. You need to pay $20 Peso when you check out and put the luggage in the front desk. You was supposed to have 10% discount for food in their restaurant, but restaurant staff asked for the full price. There is a woman staff in the morning, with very bad attitude. All in all, very average hostel, just for stop and go... don\'t even wanna stay more than 1 night

Some rooms are located at a separate building without weather proof route to the main lobby. It will be quite inconvience if you were arrived at rain time

There was no hot water in the shower but that was OK. They need to fix the internet. It has not worked in a long time and the nearest internet cafe is a long walk.

This hostel was lovely. The restaurants for both breakfast and dinner were great and the hostel gives you a wristband to get discounts throughout palenque. To get to the ruins it is only a short walk to where the collectivos pick you up, it is also only a short walk from the bus station.

Dorm room was hot and stuffy. I feel that dust and sand were everywhere. Pillow was really uncomfortable. The restaurant in the hostel is very pricey and the food is not even good. The area is in the turistic section, a street of just hotels and expensive restaurants. The town itself has not much to offer either.

I`ve spent there two nights and had a very nice trip. The young staff was very helpful and always in a good mood. Our room was nery, but because of the temperatures you should ask for a room with a fan! The kitchen is big and very clean, salt, pepper, oil etc. are for everyone. The surroundings are just beautiful! The best hostel if you want to stay in town!

I think it would be good if you could include breakfast in the price as well. And more fans in the bedroom because it is very hot. But other than that I had a great time and the staff were very helpful.

Paid for a dorm with air con and when I arrived the fan was down the other end of the room. There was no air circulating near my bed. When I told them they said the only other room free was a private and that I would have to pay 300 pesos extra! I reminded them I paid for a room WITH air con and after 20 min they finally moved me to the other dorm. I found the staff really unhelpful & useless. The wi fi was a JOKE.. It rarely worked and other travellers found it as frustrating as I did. Awful.

I rated three poor because I was locked inside... had to wait until 7AM opening time so I could get out but did not give me enough time to take more cash for the morning tour. That is why it gave me tight of low cash during the tour. Staff there seemed its not important for me to get out early instead, saying I should climb over the fence. Stupid! Internet is good but closed from around midnight to 7am. The room is HOT and one floor standing fan. Ceiling fan is no good for low bunk bed!

Room was very basic and small, though for one night it's ok-you get what you pay for. We did have a scorpian in our room, not sure if it was in there when we checked in, or crawled under the big gap in the door! Only the room door and one unlocked door separating the bedroom from the street (our room was in a block separate from the main building with reception in) so security was a bit of a worry. Staff were ok, but not particularly friendly. On site cafe and reception/common room were nice.

No swimming pool as mentionned ! nice place, in the jungle, just 5 minutes from Palenque downtown. Clean, with a kitchen and internet... but the staff may switch your room without asking, and charge you more :-((

Absolutly recommanded! The only thing to improve is the kitchen equipment: We couldn´t neither find cutlery nor bowls to prepare our breakfast!

Amazing, they spent alot of money on the building and the mattress was so bad I had to ask for another room, luckly there was one available. The doors to the private rooms were all so flimsy a child could break in! In the kitchen there was only one fork, no microwave only a two burner stove and no pots and pans! Get it together! It's like they wanted to make a first class place and changed to a hostel after making a luxury restuarant bar!

Good location if you want to visit the ruins and Agua Azul. Very strange atmosphere; badly equipped kitchen, staff rather nonprofessional – no tips/recommendations, if Wifi worked at all, then only around the reception area. Our private room was in a separate building across street and still under construction. The noisy building work started at 7am in the morning. Had a little fight with cockroaches in our room, but guess this is rather normal for the location.

The place is quite nice. well situated and calm. The thing missing for this price was the breakfast which should be included. The atmosphere in a hotel often depens of the residents. In our case, we didn't have any contact with others. We just do not anderstand why. people don't say "hello" or "ola" when they pass by.
