It was great spending time here. We discovered a whole new area around Floresta station where we otherwise would never have hang around. Had some crazy evenings with loco Argentineans who made traditional parilla for everybody in the hostel. Vincent was a perfect host en very relax, which we liked very much. The accommodation is how it's supposed to be, clean and cozy. If you're looking for an alternative location with a mix of foreigners and south americans, this is definitely the place to be!

Yeah, this hostel is a top hostel. I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were super great, friendly and very helpful. This isn't a huge hostel which helps to create a close community amongst guests and staff. Breakfast here is really good and very cheap. There is a sports complex not too far which is completely free.... :-) with swimming pool, basketball courts, tennis courts, volley ball arena and lots more.

Vincent was a fantastic host, ready to help us out whenever we needed it and happy to let us chill the rest of the time, plus he made a great breakfast. The hostel has a lovely atmosphere and clean, decent rooms. The two dogs are very well behaved and make it feel more like a home than a hostel. Great location, right next to the metro. We really enjoyed staying here and were gutted we couldn't stay longer.

Awesome breakfast for just a few bucks keeps me full every day until the afternoon. I've stayed 3 weeks so far. Warm shower, relaxing place with nice patio to get some sun and have a few beers. Clean rooms, nice plants and open air to enjoy the beautiful Medellin weather.

A really nice hostel and great place to have a few chilled days. LOcated 2 blocks from the subway is useful but does mean that you have to buy at least 2 subway tickets a day (approx 4k total) to get in and out of the centre. But totally worth it. Vince is an amazing hostel owner has loads of great information for you at the drop of a hat and is able to organise some great tours (the pablo escobar tour isn´t to be missed!) And a fantastic breakfast too!

We arrived at the bus station, took 2 metros to hostel, very easy. It really is just a minute's walk from the metro. While it's not in the happening district like Zona Rosa, it's a quiet place for people who are over the party scene. To get to Zona Rosa, we took the metro to I think the Poblado station and walked uphill about 7 blocks. The metro closes early so we bargained with the cab drivers to get back (ten million is sufficient.) Super clean, 24 hr staff, safe.

We stayed in this hostel Feb. 13-16th. It is located in a safe recidential area outside the citycenter, however it is just 5 min walk from the metro station which takes you to downtown and zona Rosa fast and cheap. The twin private ensuite room was fine, however my friend did not like the "electric water heating" showerhead. But I used it several times without any problems. The breakfast was nice and cheap, 2 eggs any style, toast and coffee for 1000 pesos. I can really recommend this hostel.

A great little hostel run by a Frenchman and his wife. Located in a quiet residential area with a lot of cheap restaurants around. Very close to the metro station, highly recommended. Breakfast costs just 1000 COP and is definitely worth it.

Vince and his team run a fine hostel in a great location. We could have not asked for a better level of service in a warm, relaxed environment.

The hostel is located in a nice quarter of Medellin just 100 Meters from the Metro Station "La Floresta". From there you can get to every sight within some minutes. The rooms are basic but clean and the additional breakfast (1000 Pesos) is well worth the money. Vince (the french owner) was very helpful, gave us the city guide and booked us the bus tickets.

The hostel is very clean and friendly without beeing a party space. Vince or one of his staff are always there and keep an eye on everything and are knowledgeable about Medellin. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Yellowhouse Hostel. It was one of the best Hostels in Colombia we stayed in.
