Nice atmosphere, feels like a home. Great breakfast with fresh fruit (and juices). The dogs are fun even if you're not a dog person. Walking distance (3 min) to Floresta metro station from where you can get anywhere in the city. A few streets away from the bars on Calle 70. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Depending on the mood of the owner Vincent be prepared for a different experience each day. Although the place is small and quiet with not much of a social area, the tv area is also his office. Be prepared for blasting techno while he is cleaning the place around 10am and also a 3 year old running up and down the hallway. Sometimes he can be friendly, other times a yes or no to your quieres. Not much around the area apart from a great local pool dien the road which is free. Free b'fast a bonus

Nice hostel, in a very safe part of the city, great breakfast. The metro station is around the corner. Wifi signal is very poor sometimes.

We really enjoyed staying at Yellow Hostel. Great breakfast, nice clean, secure and serene accommodations. We met some great travelers in this hostel and got plenty of needed rest. The location was ideal for us as it is just a few blocks from the metro station. Nice hot showers, laundry service, access to the olympic pool complex. Vincent was a great host, if we stay in Medellin again it will be here.

Great hostel, great breakfast, great taste in music, great help, great location (not in the main tourist area but in pleasant, safe area and right next to the metro - easy enough to get around) and you have to love the dogs.

Because the Yellow House Hostel is so close to the Metro, it's really nice to stay in a different neighborhood than the heavily traveled Poblado area. Also, if you love dogs, stay here!

We enjoyed our stay at this hostel. It was extremely chilled out and quiet. The owner is wonderful and makes a great breakfast! His staff are great too! The hostel had a very homey feel to it. Bathrooms were clean and the 2 ply toilet paper felt like a major upgrade!! Hot showers were an added upgrade! The hostel was clean and safe and comfortable. It was conveniently located close to the train station so getting places was not an issue at all.

Hi Vince, great hostel you are running, not 100% because the atmosphere was a bit quiet at some times, its nice to have a chat to other travelers sometimes. Hopefully some more good reviews like this will change it for you. All the best Shaun

Yellow House was a great place to get some rest as it is on a quiet residencial street. But it was also very close to the metro, which was nice for getting around the city. The hot breakfast is a really nice way to start the day. Good space to chill out or watch a movie and good hot water in the shower. Vince was attentive and friendly. Thanks, yellow house.

Great relaxed hostel in a great location. Vince the owner is very helpful and keeps the place spotlessly clean, even though he has two lovely dogs. He cooks a mean little breakfast which is included in the price. Good facilities also include a kitchen and lightning fast wifi. Seriously loved my stay here and can only say good things about the place. Come visit and see for yourself.

This is not a party hostel but a chilled and quiet small hostel, so you know what you are looking for. It is located 5 minutes from the subway Floresta, which is convenient to visit the city; and 3 blocks from the supermarket. The kitchen is truly workable, the showers had hot water, the wifi is working and the included breakfast is good and served by the owner every morning.

This is a lovely, quiet hostel. It is located very close to a metro station which makes it quite easy to get around Medellin, which is quite a large city. The breakfast is great.

Vincent and Solange are really nice hosts. It does not feel like a hostel; it feels like going to one of your relatives´ to stay for some days, i.e., relaxing environment, no rush, but like your nearest relatives, they are ready to recommend things to do in the city, to have coffee with you and take care of you like family. Location is great! Close to Floresta station! I do recommend it!
