A very basic hostel. Its just a room with beds, no common area or anything. Price seems negotiable so I would just turn up.
Never ever again! There was growing mould on the sheets and pillows, it was disgusting!! We immediately left the place. If you pay 50 baht extra you'll have a bungalow for your own somewhere else and you wouldn't have to stay in this dirty hostel. We have never seen something like this before!!! Don't go to this place!

Wish there wasn't such a huge cost difference between booking online and booking in person.
With no aircon and fan only, I could only get so sleep from 3am. Fair enough, I did come here in April though. Great central location. But there was no common room for guests and reception was simply a desk near the street. Toilets/bathrooms needed repairs too. You get what you pay for....
Not a bad hostel in any way. Located a few steps from the beach. Good wifi and cheap. What more do you need
Yellow sun offered a very comfortable, clean environment five minute walk from the beach. Basic dorm but thats all you need. If youre in the a/c dorm beware, they do turn it off between ten am and eight pm. Yes ok, they do have some ants, but its not bad. I stayed four nights with no issue then came back for two more nights. Location couldnt be better, still in the action but not loud.My go to when in Ao nang. Also Ray who runs it is very sweet. And the dude who runs the bar is super cool.
