The hostel is located an easy 5 10 minute walk from Republic Square; is kept very clean & serves a different breakfast each day. Dorms can be a little crowded at times when additional trundle beds are added, particularly on the weekends. The hostel has 2 locations very close to each other. The second location lacks security as the entry door is not locked, although Armenia appears to be a very honest community. Front desk staff have excellent English and are very friendly & helpful.

We came in late and sleepy. Hostel staff was waiting for us in advance, they were prepared we were coming, they did all the paper work in advance, we were in our room in a second. The room was clean, and comfortable and even had a private toilette. We have booked a shared bathroom room which normally means a shared toilette too. Both the guy and the girl at the front desk spoke very good english. The only negative remark is that the room had no windows, but was well ventilated so not a problem.

Super friendly and helpful staff. The common room is right next to sleeping rooms, so you cannot hang out in the evenings/nights, unless all of residents are in. Beds are really bad — you can feel each spring against your body and top beds don't seem to be stable enough. The hostel also offers tours and is flexible about times and places to visit.
