Definitely one of my favorite hostels I stayed at during a 3 month trip around Europe. It's the staff that makes you feel at home and like you are friends at the family style dinners. Great luggage lockers under the beds for my bag to explode. A small hostel but great because you end up making friends with everyone. Porto was my first city to visit in Portugal and I loved it. Take the walking tours!
We had a great stay. The staff had a lot of awesome insider-tips. We felt very welcome at all times.
One of the best located hostel in town, near to the tube, bus station and most of the sight seeing places. McDonald's is really really nearby. Staffs are wonderful, they have a great cook !! Good free walking tours + pub crawls for party seekers. Best of all, air-conditioned ROOMS !! Only down side is this hostel is a stairway up building, no lifts, hence you gotta do a little climbing. Other than that, all is wonderfully great !!
It was really nice stay except for one night's wifi problem. Very good location and very clean.
Very nice accomodation with a lovely staff
The staff are also extremely helpful. Use their recommendations on places to see and eat - they were amazing!
Great hostel, nice staff and atmosphere, perfect location. Both walking tours were one of the bests I´ve ever been. Definetely recommend it :)
Amazing staff as all other hostels in Portugal. The hostel is simply perfect. Good atmosphere at the night with the dinner.
Yes! Porto Hostel is an excellent choice for those who visit Porto! If you stayed in Yes! Lisbon, you will find the same high quality services and facilities! The staff is great and the rooms are very comfortable! The only problem is that the Hostel doesn't have an elevator. Besides that, I would definitely recommend it!
Great place to stay in. Bed covers could be a bit cleaner anyway. Walking tours are nice but the real duration should be told (they last actually 3 hours) so you can decide if you join or not. Guys, you should maybe remove the "shower by 2" joke in the bathrooms as one morning I heard a couple together in the shower next to mine -private love is better for everybody! ;) )
A nice, clean, vibrant hostel in the centre of Porto. The location is perfect, and although the hostel is housed in a old building the interior is very modern. The staff was great and very helpfull. The free walking tour they offered was a great way to discover Porto!
Clearly a party hostel. Everything alright, nothing bad, nothing exceptional.

Amazing hostel, great rooms (beds a little hard - one downside), great staff and yummy meals (with unlimited drinks) for under 10€... Wonderful port wine tour through hostel, too - one of my trip's highlights. Would definitely love to go back.
It's a place I'd recommend to stay. It has a great location at the heart of the city, very close to the train stations and restaurants/pubs. The staff is very helpfull, the place is clean and cosy. The bathing facilities are good, there is also a sink in the bedroom (we stayed in a 4 bed dorm). The breakfast isn't that wonderful, but is OK. All be it, nice place, worth its money.
The reviews don't lie, this is a great hostel. Beautifully tiled bathrooms. Sturdy comfy wooden bunks. Fantastic breakfast. Group dinners are great. Walking tour, pub crawl all good. Location perfect. Only gripe is that it's not cheap so not having proper air con is a bit annoying. It's loud with the windows open. Still fantastic.
Great hostel! Dinner and pub crawl are organized everyday which is perfect to meet people if you travel on your own! Really clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
The staff was very friendly and the dinners at the hostel and walking tours were very nice!
