Please provide city maps. also recommend nearby eating stalls/restaurant. The guy at the counter was helpful . Sorry could not remember his name. Night shift was replaced by a girl. When we complained that there were no toiletries it pained her terribly to get fresh supplies.
Overall our stay was good and the rooms were very nice. However when we wanted to check out in order to get to the train station on time we were left waiting for at least 15 mins as the person on the front desk had left the building.
Not really a common room/lobby to speak of, so not terribly sociable atmosphere. Staff's English negligible, so Chinese is required. Our room was very cold, but so was all of Yichang at the time of year we visited! The hostel will arrange Yangtze river cruises! When we checked out early in the morning, we had to call a number to wake up a receptionist, we felt a little bad! Food in the area really good - if you're a foreigner they'll love you and treat you like a celebrity!!
Located near the dvisitowntown, hostel has lot of recommedations about where to visit, staff is friendly and rooms are clean! I would recommend this hostel to everyone!
Really nice place. Lovely rooms and helpfull staff.
It was a really nice stay. The room was very clean and we had our own bathroom. There are many restaurants and shops in that area. The staff can arange a yangtze river cruise to Chongqing on a fair price and provide information about how to get to local sights by public transport. Not all the employees speak english but they try to help you whereever they can.
A nice little hostel that i would recommend to anyone. Only downsides were very poor internet and the staff could not speak English. They did their best to help and there was a guy with English that they could call, but that's really a practical solution to minor matters
