Omer Yapis was an incredibly good host. He waited on the street late at night for our cab to come from the bus station so that he could greet us personally. He guided us on the first 13 kilometers of the Lycian Way the next morning, free of charge. He was incredible. The Guesthouse is Spartan but clean and very functional. The breakfast was excellent. Omer's staff were excellent too.

If you are a backpacker and u plan to stay a few nights and cook for yourself at night it's not a good idea to stay here because your not aloud to use the kitchen, plus when you leave for a day out you have to leave your key at reception which means they have access to your room and your stuff, this might only be for the dorm rooms so not very good.also in the bathroom you are not allowed to put ur toilet paper down the toilet so you out it in a bin with no bag and no lid.

the bathrooms and the security (door locks on dorms, mainly) could do with some improvement, but we had a really lovely time - omar was always there for whatever we needed, the breakfast was fantastic and the free tea and coffee added a very comfortable welcoming feel to the place. =]

Omer the owner / host was a fountain of knowledge, all round great guy, very accommodating and to top it off... looks like Robert Deniro! Rooms were clean and had a great view over the harbour. Yildrim has a good outside area for breakfast and socialising with other guests at the hostel. I was very happy here, would certainly return and certainly recommend.

The dorm was a mess. Something was wrong with toilet and the entire room smelled like a sewer. Even when the door was closed. It is really cheap to stay in dorm so you get what you pay for. Also the doors to the dorms are padlocked from outside so when everyone is sleeping you can't lock the front door. Neighborhood seems safe enough but room could benefit from a different locking mechanism. I would stay again but not in dorm. Spend the extra cash and stay in private, they are very nice.

Perfect location and very knowledgeable staff. Always booked solid so book well in advance. Excellent breakfast and free tea/coffee all day is a bonus. The communal computer was broken when we went but i'm sure it is fixed by now. I'de stay here again but only in the private rooms. The dorms are pretty dirty and cramped but very cheap so its up to you. If you have no expectations then stay in dorm.

We only stayed for one night but in that time we could clearly see how helpful and attentive the staff are to their visitors' needs.

Omar was more than helpful and friendly. We helped arrange para-gliding trip and helped us find a bus to the airport. Along with making all the reservations for us. One of the most friendly hostels I've stayed at. Thanks, Willem

Bathroom/shower was very dirty and disgusting. There was a lot of mold on the bathroom wall and some black flies on the wall next to the toilet. Some had flown into the room. The drain was very dirty and smelled like sewage. The shower head was broken and didn't work. There was a line of ants right at the entrance door to the room. There was a gap between the room entrance door and the wall. The main door to the room had to be kept unlock as there was no way to lock it from inside.

Omer is amazing! He helped us plan the next leg of our trip in about 10 minutes, with two phone calls, and never tired of questions about the area. We were able to store our stuff in his locked office, while we explored and stayed somewhere else the night following our stay. Would definitely recommend this guesthouse for its friendly atmosphere and amazing host!

A fun, clean hostel great value for money. Owner ıs very friendly, helpful wıth lots of advıce on where to go + how to get there. The breakfasts are great, wıth a lovely terrace where u always make frıends! The only thıng ıs that the owner wıll book you on tours for day trıps, boat tours etc. He booked one for me and ıt was a tour full of old couples wıth chıldren and we went to really tourısty places. Not great for a young traveller. I'd recommend bookıng your own or gettıng there yourself.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, offered a nice breakfast, and the location was good as well as the price. I would highly recommend this place for budget travelers. I guess my only complaint would be the bathrooms.

Yildirim guesthouse is a fantastic hostel! The best quality/price ratio you could get. Breakfast is better than in many other places, the staff is really really nice, cool and helpful. Concerning security they can keep your valuable things in a locked case (if it's not too big). Dorms are good, not too hot and it's very easy to meet people.
