The room is very small.door is so old and thin. The shower is very bad. I am not recomment this guesthous for anybody.

A clean bed in a cramped room, good location in the old city. Friendly staff, for £6 a night you can't really complain.

very good location, but if you stay there ask for the new building ! the main problem was that only the old lady with glasses can speak good english and french and she is very nice and helpful but the rest of the staff can t speak any english which made things more difficult coz i always had to wait for a long time for the only english speaker of the staff to come and help me

Average at best. Door was worryingly fragile and could have easily been opened. The lack of a communal area was a shame. Location great for Zoe's corner. Needs some love, or maybe this is just what you get for your money in Central chiang Mai? Have heard of better and worse from fellow travellers.

We had a great stay at Yourhouse. The owners made it easy to book everything at the best rates possible. Our room was also very comfortable. Thanks so much for your hospitality!

Simple rooms with flush toilets and warm showers. All you really need for an overnight stop, wifi was bit temperamental from room but not a biggy for us.

Strange place, split into 3 buildings with the cheaper rooms seemingly being in Yourhouse 2 where we stayed. Dodgy security as the house is closed only with a padlock and no one anywhere to be seen. Zero interaction with other guests due to the odd set-up. Nice staff though. There's nothing we hate more than a guesthouse that could be amazing but just isn't looked after properly, which is what this felt like. The location is absolute perfect aswell which makes it even worse.

Nice stay. Food was not available in the morning before our tour, which was disappointing.

Great place in the old Chiang Mai. Fair price for a double room with bathroom and fan. The owner is really nice and helpful. I would repeat for sure!!!

the price was unreasonable. the rooms were terrible. staff was friendly, but this is not a good choice - for chiang mai accomodation. there are many better places.

This place was good for us as we wanted some space to ourselves in a good location, but don't stay here if you want to meet other guests. The rooms are large, quiet and modern. The dude at the desk pressed us to buy his tours but when we went with someone else he lectured us at every opportunity about how we hadn't listened to him and got ripped off. He should have given us the deal straight off like the other operator and we might have gone with him in the first place! Very annoying.

It was great value for money, the room simple, clean and quiet, the staff speaks English and French. Located on a small street very close to one of the main streets and the east gate, a very nice street with a lot of small cafes and restaurants, cooking schools and yoga classes are 5 min away on foot. The owners have a really cozy cafe in the yard, good food, low prices, fast service. They also have another GH, which is much cozier for 600+ Baht, all wooden and spacious, on the same street.

Our review is absolutely depending on the room you get. We had a pretty good room for the first too nights but had to move to another room because we wanted to extend our stay. The first room was very nice; clean and quite big. The second room wasn't clean at all and we could barely turn around. It was ok for us as the 2nd room was cheaper but we'd booked a different room in advance if we knew about that before. Maybe that's the reason for the big variance in the reviews of this guest house...

The owner was very nice and helpful, I fell bad for him though. During the holiday seasons; the street it's located on is loud madness 24 hours. The room was like a sauna even with both fans on and the window open.

The people at Yourhouse were terrific, they've been doing it for a long time, they know just what travellers need and want, loads of good info on trekking and other trips. A good restaurant attached, wifi was a little hit and miss but OK, and lots of big cheery smiles and warm greetings. Better than home really. :)

felt like a cell block, no lighting in hall way (hazardous). stains on walls, wires hanging loose, no light bulbs in sockets, bathroom unpleasant, mosquito guard on window hanging off, no character or atmosphere what so ever. my travel partner and i have stayed in numerous hostels and guest houses and this has been the only disappointing venue!

great location, in a quiet street right by the busy area with bars and restaurant. Not a place with a character though, more like a place to spend 1 night before getting back in the street again

had some large cockroaches in one room. lots of ants in the other. the staff was great. one day, Vincent took us for a tour of a couple of the better wats and taught us lots of interesting stuff about the buddhist monk life. the rooms were a bit expensive if you wanted AC (maybe 400-500 baht) , the rooms without AC are cheap, though.

the hostel is more like a hotel, very clean and fully equipped with individual bathroom. reception is welcoming and rather helpful, except that they are more interested in promoting tour packages than helping with "tour tips" comparing to most hostels i've stayed before. overall it's very pleasant stay and the tour packages we joint were fun, though price not competitive.

When we arrived the sheets were dirty. There were ants (also red ones) all over the bathroom and room, even in the bed... We also found a giant cockroach once! The provide their own tours (trekking, elephant riding, rafting, handicraft village, cooking...), however they react quite offended and unfriendly when you book elsewhere. This made us feel uncomfortable for the rest of the stay. If you want to get your laundry done, go around the corner, its much chraper there!
