A typical german jugendherberge (youth hostel). Not great for meeting people, but it has all the essential facilities and is clean etc.. you certainly could do much worse than staying here, but if you're looking for somewhere special this probably isnt it.   Read Owner Comments

The location was not so good, as we had to walk about 50 minutes with normal and a bit fast walking from the citycenter to the hostel. And because when we arrived it was dark, it was hidden so it was very difficult for us to find it, although it was near to us. If you have a car, it is perfect. The rooms and the breakfast were quite good and clean!   Read Owner Comments

Comfortable, well organised hostel. easily accessible by regular suburban trains /tram. Dorms adequate, helpful unobtrusive staff, showers good and a bar for a nightcap that served a very nice and reasonably weizenbier indeed

I will warn, though, that there was no soap at our sink, and you have to pay for a towel. We only stayed for one night, and it was perfect for that. I was really happy to have a small locking cabinet to keep my purse in. Ooh, and free beakfast.   Read Owner Comments

They advertise a barbecue area, but when we got there, we were told that only groups of 20 or more could use the grill and that there was no guest kitchen or a refrigerator where we could store the food we had bought in order to barbecue.

The rooms are very nice, but the staff was very short-tempered with us. The location is wonderful if you want to get away from the city. It is literally in a park 2 minutes from the bank of the Rhine!
