Youth-Hostel Cologne-Riehl - City Hostel Reviews

We had an excellent stay in Cologne, the youth hostel was clean, comfortable and well run, the staff were helpful and courteous, the location was convenient for the town, using both public transport or on foot along the riverside. Should we ever get the opportunity to go to Cologne again we will most definately try this hostel first, thank you

Great place in a beautiful city. I would 100% recommend this hostel.

Big hostel bordering hotel. Excellent and clean facilities, but wifi will set you back €1.5 an hour. Location is a few tram stops outside city centre, and near what seems to be a derelict circus and camper van car park. However, tram stop is about 200 meters away. Not much fun or socialising for a backpacker, but good for a nights sleep.

Great hostel for groups. Very clean, good breakfast and overall quite a pleasant experience. Location is quite good. Will use again, maybe not the bset place to meet fellow travellers, although we were a group, so that may also be because we werent looking. You will not be dissapointed.

The rooms where really nice and clean. It was also nice to have a bathroom in your own room! The breakfast was really nice made, fresh and good. I just think it is a real mess to charge for the internet - either way the WI Fi or the PC you use in the Hostel because the price is really high ...it should be included!!!!

When we arrived, receptionst have a little problem with our payment, in the end everthing was ok. We just sleep in this hostel and have very good breakfast in the morning, then go out for all day. Location is good for public transportation and also for walking to the center along the Rhein.

Frustrating internet. Food very weak. There are not many places to eat in the area, so it would be nice if either you offered some decent food options, or had a more visible guide to places to eat. Great staff. Hostel felt clean and orderly.
