The locations was great, in the centre of A-dam. The hostel has a cool bar down stairs and also serves breaky till late. My only issue was that we weren't allowed to open windows as the dorm becaome very stuffy and smelly, to the point of sufforcation. We really enjoyed staying here, the location was excellent and the staff were friendly. The bar area was really pleasant with 24 hour internet, a book exchange - it was a nice place to hang out when we were tired! The only thing was that the rooms and the bathrooms are so damp....they really need to open the windows more often (and put extractor fans in the bathrooms, which are windowless :-). Pretty good place to stay for the price. Great location, good hot showers with lots of room in the shower. Nice to have free wi-fi in the bar. Friendly and helpful staff. The 18 bed room is a bit chaotic with people coming and going at all time. They also face the busy street so it's a little loud with an open window. My friend stayed in the 8 bed dorm which seemed alot nicer with better lockers and facing the canal. 2nd trip there and would definately stay again.Pretty good place to stay for the price. Location was great. In the middle of everything. Safe, on a well traveled street, not a dark alley. Make sure you get a locker, our dorm door was always open, but nobody that wasn't supposed to be there went in.Location was great. In the middle of everything. Great location and a good staff and nice bar for residents. Not the cleanest showers and beds if your a neat freak. but a good place to saty if you wanna spend most of your time out and about in the city anyway. The hostel was what you'd hope for - clean, great location with friendly/helpful staff. There wasn't much to do there but it's right in the city so it didn't matter.
