people there were really friendly, and the hostel is well located, near every tourist attraction.

Fantastic hostel. Staff friendly, facilities great, excellent value for money, amazing location. Only slight criticism would be the lack of bathroom facilities. Also, perhaps the hostel should employ a lighting system after 3 am, whereby the lighting can only be on at a dimmed brightness. For someone to come in at 5am and turn the lights on full was a little annoying.

This is a good hostel and i have nothing to complain about but i think that it could have better security. Everybody can go into any room, there's no key at all. Also there's no plug in the dorms, i found just 1 in a dorm for 18.

Female travelling alone. Had an ace time at this place. The location is PERFECT. Right in the heart of Amsterdam and once your party finishes you can go back and have a beer at the hostel bar. Staff friendly and in hostel standards, everything was clean.

Female hot showers didn't work… ever.

it's a good accommodation to spend few days in Amsterdam, the 24h bar is useful and cheap even if the breakfast is very poor. the bathroom is quite small for too many people per room. if you don't have high standards Meetingpoint won't be a bad experience.

Great location, wifi didnt work hole time i was there. Breakfast isnt free. Toilets and showers pretty scatty. good for a bed to stay after big nights out though.

This is the worst hostel I her ever stayed in. I stayed for 3 nights and didn't enjoy it at all. The only pro about this hostel is the location. The fact that you pay 14 euros a night is ridiculous. We stayed in a room te was extremely dirty and the floor was covered in dirt and hair. On the day that we did see the house keeper vacuum, he used a vacuum that didn't do anything and left all the dirt and hair. The hair was the worst. The showers are infested by mold and do not have ventilation.

you can't expect more for a few pounds, helpful staff, not bad at all

The hostel is good, close to the train station and the red district. As I stayed there just one night and on a monday, I can't really tell if the hostel is noisy on weekends as there were just 3 people in the room. The woman in the reception is very friendly and funny and if I return to Amsterdam I would stay in that hostel again.

Very freindly staff. Cheap braekfast. Excellent location. We stayed in a 18 people room, and it was quiet, clean and confortable.

Infelizmente yo fue robado de mi cartera en Hostal, con todos las documentaciones y dinero cerca de 520 Euros, tarjeta de credito del Santander, Banco do Brasil y etc ! El Hostel no tiene seguridad ninguna ! Y también sin el controle de quién entrega las llaves de los armarios, pero mi llave fue robada y quitaran los 10 euros de la fianza ! Infelizmente mi estancia en Amsterdam no fueram buenas !! Un amigo me ayudó y me prestó dinero para comer , porque todo mi dinero estava en mi cartera !

It had a great location, and the people that worked there speak like 5 or 6 languages each fluently! The hostel room that I stayed in Smelled pretty bad though, and the last day I lost $60 worth of stuff in a bag I left beside my bed, and other people lost things while I was there also. Good location, staff, and bar downstairs, but I would not recommend it, go for higher prices and a better place!

if you go to Amsterdam, the meetingpoints is perfect for you. Is in the centre of amsterdam, near the station centraal. Meeting point is a clean hostel with nice people.

I will definitely go back there.great prices, great staff and location.
