Nice hostel and great location! The area is noisy but i don't have a problem with that.. There is no wifi in the rooms but is good in the way that there is more people in the common area..

The location of this hostel is superb! Right in the heart of Amsterdam and a stones throw away from Dam Square! The cleanliness wasn't brilliant in the rooms as the carpets were very dirty and made your socks dirty but the bathrooms were clean and convenient! The atmosphere wasn't the best but this wasn't due to the staff as all the staff were great! The hostel bar was very nice with refreshing prices compared to the rest of Amsterdam!

good place. Only thing is no plugs in room. But that is also how i met people cause I had to plug in bar. the girl working there is amazing.

Apart from no sofa's to chill on, all in all a good Hostel.

Although apprehensive at first being a young couple staying in one of the 18 bed dorm rooms we were pleasantly surprised at our stay. A friendly welcoming atmosphere coupled with good security and central location make this hostel perfect for exploring the wonderful city that is Amsterdam!

Left here to go to flying pig and this doesn't have the atmosphere or vibe that they did. However good alternative for a cheaper price.

If you're into hostels with rude staff, rude cleaners, dirty toilets that aren't even equipped with soap, then this is the place for you! Stay here only as a last resort, there are plenty more hostels on the street of this hostel that have far better reviews. Beware of the old Dutch receptionist who does the night and early morning shifts, speaking to him will probably ruin your whole day. Amsterdam is a lovely city, just don't stay in this hostel to cloud your travels.

For what I was paying for a hostel (about 30 euros) the place needed to have better facilities: a kitchen, some outlets in the room, wifi besides in the lobby, clean bathrooms (and more than just two to a floor.) the space was adequate for what I needed: a place to crash and shower. But I've spent half that amount at other hostels and stayed in better places. You gotta give your customer their bang for their buck.

The security was astonishingly poor, every single door was open all throughout the day and surprisingly, also in the night. No one asked if we were customers when we came in, everyone could go inside. My room was an 18 people room and partners were friendly but the point was that when I arrived it was so dirty that I could not see anything positive. The location is relatively good in order to go out at night. The worst was the price. I paid 30€/night while other places have better prices.

Inconvenience with no kitchen, no locks on the doors to the rooms. The room had one plug in it, and it was an 18 person room. You had to go downstairs to the "bar/common area" to either charge your device at the table with plugs, or leave your electronic behind the bar to charge. Although the location is great for partying, you weren't allowed to bring in your own alcohol to the common area because the hostel was serving their own at the bar. Overall, a little dark and little room to socialize.

Loved the stay. Thank you all in meetingpoint hostel.

Great location and the bathrooms were clean! Not the friendliest staff, but I loved the location. It would be great if it had a kitchen, but overall it was a nice stay. The rooms are very simple and could be cleaner, but the hostel accomplishes its purporse. I didn't mind staying here at all.

Great location. No plugs in rooms and showers were quite dirty, but overall a very good hostel.

Really liked this hostel, despite what we thought it was going to be like! There are no keys - your room 'key' is a green piece of paper.. despite this the security was actually quite good. The lockers are huge and we managed to fit 3 rucksacks into one of them. Showers were really good and the water was always warm. In the street next to the red light district so it's really close to everything. Would definitely stay here again!

No charging points in the rooms, rooms don't lock. Great location however

I loved the atmosphere and the chill vibes.

Then hostel was pretty basic but that was only what i'd expect for the price. Sheets were clean, bathrooms were much cleaner than i'd expected they might be (maybe partly due to separate girls/boys bathrooms). Most people staying there seemed to be young backpackers - i went on my own and met a few people as i thought i would. Location is good if you want to party but not so good for museums.

The hostel is located in Amsterdam's city center, which makes it easy to explore the city. It is a great place to meet people, especially since the hostel has a bar and smoking room.
