Hostel was sufficient, but really nothing special. My friends thought it was kind of gross, but for a weekend away, it sufficed.

The only thing I don't really liked was the fact that we had to left the hostel at 10 am. And we arived at 7 or 8 pm. Also, that was not a very big problem bacause they took care of our baggage while we walked for the city.

deserve this price, with a good location near the red light street, and many restaurant nearby, but I can not iamage the room is so dark, and I do not feel cleaniness there, even there are blood on the bed sheet.

I'd been in a lot of hostels around Europe, and the hostel "Meeting Point" is for sure the worse one that I saw... No security, the rooms and the beds are terrible, the staffs are very impolite. I don't recommend it at all.

As Amsterdam hostels go, this is probably the best one i've ever stayed in, and will visit again. great staff, great bar, great fun. perfect for the lone traveller as well

Good hostel all in all, perfect location, nice staff, not particulary clean and too many people in the rooms though (20 instead of promised 10). The bad thing was that you could not bring friends inside and it's a big disadvantage.

everything was good although the guy on duty at breakfast was in a really bad mood. told me i couldn't leave my bags downstairs and would have to go to the train station after i left them downstairs and asked to quickly grab my beanie.. Kind of ruined it..

The common room is a bar and so you are not allowed to bring own drinks, but also bar is only open to guests and not general public so it seems strange to have such costly drinks. Breakfast was good and cheap.
