Good value for money but some things can be improved easily! No plugs in the room, so no chance to charge mobile phone etc. No wifi in the room. No lockers on the rooms doos... that felt kind of weird.

Good general impression but here some points that you can improve to be the best : -The lockers are very very noisy!!! -The barman doesn't speak english but spanish?! - Friendly atmosphere but more brightness in the bar would be appreciated. - Bed were clean but there are many stains on the carpet and the bathroom should be cleaned more often. Good luck !

Hostel Meetingpoint is a very good hostel, I recommend it. There's a very good atmosphere and all the services are very good. The only small criticism is for electrical outlets. They are absent in the rooms, so you're forced to stay in the common room to recharge the electronic devices. That's not bad, beacuse like I said , it's pleasant to spend some time there, but this absence is very boring.

Staff were great, always helpful and friendly. Not a fan of the social atmosphere, but that's personal preference. Still, would be nice to have WiFi and phone-charging somewhere other than the noisy bar. Reasonably clean, reasonably priced for Amsterdam on Easter weekend. Cute cat. Not being able to use the kitchen was a bummer.

Location is great, staff are friendly. No kitchen, loud part of town, bar downstairs can get very loud and reeks of cigarette smoke. Also, there are almost no outlets; have to charge phones overnight behind the bar. Good price for Amsterdam though.

Men toilet on first floor is not as clean or as neat as the ladies. Not sure about other floors.

Great hostel! The staff was amazingly friendly, the hostel was clean, in a great location, and a great value for the money! One of the best hostels I've stayed in!

The hostel is located right in the centre and you can get there in a few minutes by food from the central station. The staff is very nice and the athmosphere is quite cool. The bathrooms are a little bit too small, if a few people want to get in there at the same time there is not much space and the rooms are not very special or something, so facilities are ok.

No chargers or wifi in rooms but everything else was fine

Upon arrival I was a little shocked at how basic the hostel was in terms of facilities, including the lack of phone chargers in the rooms (you have to charge them in a communal area by the bar), but you realise that this is a cheap, good value for money hostel, so you can't expect luxury. After settling in I really enjoyed the atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and cheap bar/food. It's also in a perfect location and for the price you pay, I'll definitely consider visiting again.

decent hostel, best thing was probably location. close to centraal station and red light district. facilities are so-so, our room was pretty cold at times. one outlet per room. the communal area is a bar downstairs. it was okay for 14 euro a night, would recommend for cheap, basic accommodation in amsterdam.

The one really good thing about this hostel is the location it's really a 3 min walk to the central station and other tourist attractions are walking distance away. However the fact that the wifi didn't work anywhere but the first floor bothered me a bit since there was litterally no where to sit there in the evenings when everyone was using the bar, also in the morning people ate breakfast there so kind of not good. Lockers they provide are metal barrels 2 euros to rent. Staff were friendly.

Nothing wrong with this hostel. Pretty good. Great location. literally just a few minutes walk to red light district and some sweet kebab shops. Bummer that the internet is only available in the bar downstairs and was a bit tempermental. had to log in all the time. Great security if you rent a locker(barrel). The guy on reception at nights was really cool. He got involved in a game of poker (which i beat him at to his surprise). Nice place to meet people and do what you do when in Amsterdam!

It is very inconvenient for people to do all the charging in the shared area.

one guy from the staff, the indian guy really rude, they don't clean the room regularly, internet connection too bad, and there's no way to charge your mobile inside the room.
