Great hostel, bar at bottom level was great to socialise! Rooms are good for what you pay for - bit squeaky. Best location - on this awesome little street filled with bars and clubs! Would definately stay here again!

Still no hot water :( but smart enough to go downstairs XD

It is really what it says, a party hostel. The bar downstairs was really nice and it made it easier to meet other travelers. The doors had no locks and the only way to charge your electronics was in the bar, but other than that I would recommend it. The location was great, near everything.

A hostel with a great vibe in a great location and breakfast for €2,50 was really decent. People complained about the lack of charging points in the rooms, but having to go to the common room/bar to charge was great for socialising. Shame they advertised having a kitchen though, seeing as only staff could use it.

The lack of WiFi and power sockets in the room is a bit inconvenient but not a big problem. The main caretaker for the hostel is extremely friendly, and it was always a pleasure dealing with him. Some of the other employees seem a bit ambivalent towards the patrons (i.e. like they have better things to do), although they were always helpful and dealt with our problems. The atmosphere, security, and especially location, were all great features. I really enjoyed our stay here.

Excellent location in the heart of the red light district. I felt very safe and you can rent a locker for 2 euros. Not the best atmosphere at the hostel as I found some people not that friendly. Would recommend.

Location and service are generally good. There is an extra fee for lockers but not much. I would definitely stay here if I visit Amsterdam again.

There are no mirrors, plugs or bins in the room which makes everything difficult and means there is rubbish such as tissues left everywhere in the room. In terms of security, you are effectively given a piece of paper and told it is your key meaning that almost anyone can walk in. The whole place is rather dingy and covered in graffiti- not as the photos depict. Also much more expensive then any other hostel I have ever stayed in and one of the worst.

I stayed only 1 nignt and its was quiet good. Location was great, showers good enugh. If u need electricity and internet conncetion u should go to bar there are lots of plug but ı didnt like this system also internet was so bad at night.. Reception was always smiling and helpful for every topic. But especially rooms has need more fresh air because it smells like socks..

It was very stinky, everything was stinky the rooms, the hallway. The bathrooms were hideous!! You even had to pay to get o locker for your things in the room and to pay to rent a towel!! Unexceptable!!!

Please improve the WiFi quality, and don't allow people smoking inside the bar.

You have to stay in there :) thats's it :) really really amazing :)

No internet inside rooms was the big downside for me, you have to come downstairs to have wifi on your phones/laptops and even then you have to sign up for it every time which takes time.

Just a stone away from the central station. Easy to reach the main attraction in Amsterdam.

Good: wonderful location, value for money, animated ambient, and sympathetic staff. Bad: can't use wifi in bedroom; can't recharge mobile, computer or any electronic things in the room (possibly, it only passes in my room), you should do everything unless shower and sleep in the bar(the common space); have to pay some fee and deposit if you want use the locker of your room.

It's a cheap hostel, so you get what you pay for. The bed was comfortable with clean sheets, the wifi wasn't working; i was confused about the kitchen facilities because i saw a small kitchen but it said "no entry: for staff only". The doors to the rooms don't lock, which isn't a big deal except you have to pay money to use a locker. The staff were nice. The location is great, so close to the city and central station - loud streets, not good if you want a quiet night
