Youth Hostel Pod Skalo

Hostel Pod Skalo is a small modern hostel, situated in Kamnik under the Old Castle.
This friendly hostel makes an ideal base for those wishing to explore the ancient city or for those who like to hike in a beatiful nature. We have the capacity for 21 guests in 10 newly furnished rooms. Each room has its own bathroom and free Wi-Fi.
Ten rooms are available for the guests:
- 3 dorm (twin) bed-rooms (with two separated beds) - -1 triple (private) bed-room
- 6 double (private) bed-rooms.
They are on the first floor and in the attic of the refurnished old middle-class house. Each room disposes with a private bathroom/WC and free Wi-Fi. There is also a internet corner and common space with small kitchen, where you can be seated in the evenings watching TV, playing cards or chess.
In the building next to the hostel there is Pub Pod Skalo, reconstructed from an old farm building. It has an interesting interior design with the old-time touch, which represents the picturesque history of one of the oldest inns in Kamnik. Here you can have a cup of coffee or a pint of beer, and in summer you can enjoy ice-cream if you have a sweet tooth! In the evenings you are invited to play table football or darts.
There is also a swimming pool nearby and a lot of nice places for other outdoor activities, such as beach volley, hiking, golf, tennis ...
