You really cannot fault the location in many ways with this drawing me to the hostel in the first place, as it is right by the beach. I found the atmosphere was mixed from the staff and there was little security and character in the hostel. I would not come here again but at the cheap price it is an option for the ultra-budget hostellier. The hostel is in a nice location but is far from the city centre. Don\'t be fooled by the \"restaurant\" it is more a canteen that only serves food if you can order it on time. You can get sandwiches or order pizza if you are stuck for food. The rooms are clean but there is only one shower for both men and women in each house. The other unfortunate thing is that it is very likely that you will be stuck with a massive group of school kids! Excellent location to the beach. Short bus ride into town. No fridge, cooking facilities or air conditioning in rooms, but there is a cafe on site. Breakfast included is breads & spreads, and tea. It was fine for what we needed I guess - a bed for a couple of nights as we worked our way down to the dalmatian coast. But there's no atmosphere at all, almost no common space, the bathrooms were small and not the cleanest, and it was far enough away from old town that you wouldn't really go into town at night to hang out. But if you're just looking to sleep for a night, it's fine. It was fine for what we needed I guess - a bed for a couple of nights as we worked our way down to the dalmatian coast.
