This hostel had terrible directions, and was in a very far off location. It adverstised a 24 hour reception but when we returned we were locked out as the man running reception was in Naples! So we could not leave the Hostel as our bags were locked in the reception. Our room was a 4 person dorm with two bunks and a double bed so we had to sleep in the same bed together. Also is very very unclean and smelled terrible. However breakfast was good.This hostel had terrible directions, and was in a very far off location. About 15 min walk up a slight hill from the train station. Directions are not very clear so we had to call and get the owners to pick us up when we got lost. Reception only open in the morning and then from 7pm-11pm. Rooms are large, and bathrooms are spacious too. There is a little supermarket about 50m from hostel which is handy.About 15 min walk up a slight hill from the train station. This hostel is not in Sorrento, it is in a town at the train stop just before Sorrento. The directions on the website seem to indicate that it is right near the train station - IT IS NOT. it is so far away by foot. We followed the signs, but ended up calling hostel for more directions. Turns out we were following directions for cars. There is a short cut which is not signposted. Ask for this. Apart from the distance to Sorrento and the train station, this hostel was awesome! We met amazing people here and had an excellent time. The staff were unbelievably friendly and the place was lovely and clean. Just make sure you take them up on their free first shuttle offer - because we were walking uphill for an hour with our packs.Apart from the distance to Sorrento and the train station, this hostel was awesome! Really bad place. It is a very long walk to the hostel. And in the hostel we got a room with ants every where and the matrasses smelled like pie. We told the owner we hated the place. Although many earlier reviews said the location was poor, we found this hostel to be perfect! The walk really only was about ten minutes into ten, and the shuttle service provided was an absolute bonus! The owner was willing to prepare breakfast early for us as well as arrange for the shuttle earlier than usual. We appreciate everything he did and would definitely come back/recommend this hostel to friends!Although many earlier reviews said the location was poor, we found this hostel to be perfect!
