20 min walk to everything, good social hostel. Great private rooms.

Awesome staff that are very friendly and helpful. The hostel is located just a short walk away from the main city center. If you are looking to a fun hostel to party at, this is the place for you.

We stayed in a private room over the road from the main hostel building, The room was very clean with good facilities, balcony and bathroom. The main hostel was lively during the evening but was fine with us being over the road. The hostel was quite far to walk to and from Hvar town and uphill all the way but was okay once we had found the place and done the walk a couple of times. The staff were very friendly and helpful

Had a great stay of 10 days here (extended an extra week). This hostel is really great. Amazing staff, great vibe at night, relaxed in the day, great food downstairs for cheap. Location wise it is close to a really nice relaxed beach and a market. Beds were comfy, kept very clean. I'll be back if I am in Hvar again someday. Cory

I absolutely loved this hostel, we stayed in the 6 bed dorm and had a balcony with a dope view of the water. The environment is awesome and it was super easy to meet people. It's a 10 minute walk from the center but if you take the stairs it's not so bad. They keep the rooms very clean which is also good. The only letdown was the wifi, which was really poor at times and you often have to switch between the different wifis they have. Other than that I would totally recommend!

The room was very nice apart from there was a lot of ants in the bathroom. There was also a lack of kitchen facilities so people had to wait to cook food. It was an enjoyable 2 nights stay with the exception of those two factors. Staff were very helpful and arranged a good night out.

Villa Marija is the perfect hostel to go to if you want meet other people! They have a great common area patio that everyone can hang out at and in the evening, the AWESOME staff (Johnny and Rodrigo) are super fun and friendly. They really make this place special. The typical evening involves hanging out on the patio until 10:30pm and then going with the big group down to the Kiva Bar in Hvar. The only downside is the location (up the hill) but overall, its worth the free exercise :)

About a 15 min walk from the main town but definitely worth it for the price. Rooms were a little cramped but were clean. We had a room which had an additional kitchen and 2 bathrooms which was perfect.

It was definetly one of the best hostels I ever stayed in. The patio was spacious and really amazing, there even were some tortoises. It is a perfect place to meet fellow travellers. The 8 bed dorm had a private kitchen and 2 bathrooms and everything was really clean. Security was excellent, for the rooms one needed a code and there were lockers as well, just don't forget to bring your own lock. Staff was nice, helpful and our kitchen was cleaned every day. I can definetly recommend this hostel!

Very social and easy to meet other travellers. Room was really nice and clean. The terrace and swimming pool are awesome! Easily one of the best hostels I've ever stayed and I'll come back for more!

Located about 10-15 minutes from the main square, the hostel is a little off the beaten path.. However, the facilities were nice and clean and the staff was very helpful. Shower was small but the beds were very comfortable. Worth the money spent.

We had a great time at marija. Dennis was super friendly and told us all the things to do on Hvar. We stayed on the lower floor which had its own kitchen and dining room. Very nice terrace with comfy seating. The hostel gave us some great wine one evening. We rented a boat through the hostel and drove it around all day for a cheap price. Overall I would definitely come back again. The room locks all have codes which means you don't need to worry about losing a key which is a nice bonus

Very good hostel, the only bad thing to say is about the location, it is located on a hill and about 10 minutes of city center.

A nightmare to get to and a bit far from everything but a great hostel

Met so many fellow Canadians there it created an awesome vibe! Their pools and lounge furniture made the deck a great place to hangout. A full kitchen was available and they offered a pub crawl for those interested. A long walk from bus station&city center, felt even longer with backpacks on. Rooms were quite cold as only a sheet was provided. Overall a great place to connect with other travelers and soak up the sun, definitely return!
