Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Convenient to old town via trams.
Well its a good place, but for the same price or actually cheaper, you can find hostels in the center, the center of the city is wherr all happens, this hostel is far,u have to spend money eith bus, you cant get drunk to your rooms and tried to make me pay morr
The hostel is amazing Nice, clean and beds, confortable place e good Breakfast
An excellent out of season venue for someone wanting a peaceful location. Breakfast had no variety, cereals aren't very pleasant.Helpful reception staff.
Why not change bunk beds in twin/ouble rooms into proper beds... minimal cost and could recommend widely to many couples amongst family and friends. Make it clear on booking if we are getting new 'refurbished' part of hostel or not.
It's a long hike out from town though on the other hand it's close to the beach.
We had a weekend moto trip to Zadar and spent one night at this hostel. The location is nice, easy to access, offers parking for bikes and is not far away from the old center. The bar located at the hostel is really great for taking a rest. We made a reservation for a double bed room on hostelworld but were told on site that they don't have such rooms and were given a bunk bad so we had to squeeze in on bed which isn't so bad anyway but the misinformation was probably the biggest disappointment.
Hostel a few km away from the old city but the location is perfect. Next to the see and only 5 min with the bus to the old city. The hostel is located next to the sea and the have a big outside bar with cheap drinks. Nice to go but not that easy to meet people.
Hostelworld Zadar is based outside of the city centre but very cheap to get to by taxi/bus. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean.
Its not as bad as I expected when I turned up after reading the reviews. There is a bar so we did have chance to meet other people. It is near the coast and a beach and has a few bars & restaurants around it. One odd thing was that there was only one key per 10 bed dorm- the last person to leave locked the door and left the key behind reception- found this very odd and a pain. We were glad to have stayed only one night although it wasn't as bad as we were expecting.
There is no kitchen, and it is big so we don't really meet people easily. But the breakfast is good, the price as well and it is very clean
It is hard to meet people there. And there is no kitchen. But the beakfast is good and it is clean
The Location was a Little Bit outside. But the staff was not so friendly. Of you have any questions they ll just give you Short mostly not very helpful answers. We were not Feeling so comfortable. The Computer was so slowly so you had to ask some questions. For a Night it s ok. But not for longer.
The room was very small, not very clean, hot and we got no towels. Beds are kids size, so my friend who is 190 cm high could not fit into bed. Cleaning ladies talked loudly in front of our window at six in the morning, they woke us up, and mosquitoes were biting us whole night, so we did not sleep at all.

This is not really a hostel for backpackers. It is cheap, but quite far out the city so you end up spending quite a bit on public transportation and the hostel is full of school trips or older group travels. They did have cheap dinners and were close to quite a nice beach :) so this is more a place for couples who don't necessarily need or want to meet other backpackers
no public kitchen and no possibility to konsum your own food or alkoholic drinks, you have to use the bar... poor for an youth hostel. breakfast ends at 9 and is bad. wifi not working most of the time. nothing comparared to the youth hostels i have visited in portugal...
This place was in a great spot just a stones through from the beach and a short ride on the 'fun train' into town. The hostel feels a little like a school camp with a bar. Instantly upgraded to an ensuit room. The common areas could really do with some lounge chairs. It was pretty loud on our second night as a Contiki group rocked up and as usual, made pigs of themselves as usual.
This was an ok place to stay for one night but it seemed mostly full of school groups so it didn't have the best atmosphere. It was pretty far out of town; about an hour from the bus station. Breakfast was included but was pretty poor.
Amazing stay, I definatly would come back there if I am in Zadar! #VemPraRua
