Essentially in a hostel you expect 2 things, a bed and a warm shower. The hostel never had warm water for a shower

Hostel is fine, but is mainly filled with long term working holiday travellers which is good if you wish to stay in Darwin for a few months but if you're just visiting for a shorter stay its not a good place to meet new people

All the hostels are on the main strip so location is bound to be good so apart from the staff and the sundeck, not really many good things to say about this hostel. Slow wifi that you have to pay for, only 1 plug socket between 4 people (unless you unplug the fan and the aircon) and the washing machine tore my trousers to pieces causing everything to be stained red, even the dark clothing. Probably wouldn't stay here again, although in Darwin you don't really have much of a choice.

This might be the worst hostel where I've ever stayed. We had just one plug in our dorm, the kitchen utensils could only be used after paying a deposit, no free wifi and incapable staff; low value for money

Very centrally located hostel close to everything. However at 34 dollars a night it was expensive for what you get. Lots of long termers staying there so the atmosphere isn't the most welcoming for people just staying a few nights. Have to pay a deposit to rent cutlery and plate and bowl and then keep it in your room which is very annoying.

I just stayed one night and I arrived at 1 am so I didn't really feel the atmosphere of the place. But my friend stayed there for 3 nights and loved the parties and the people. It is in front of the cage of the crocodile and there are coles and woolworths very close by. For someone that needs to save money, this is all that matters. It is not the cleanest bathroom, but it is fine.

This is a party-hostel, beware of it if you're looking for backpacker-like calm and peaceful stay! It it loud, very busy and crowded with drunk jerks. The personell seems to be overstrained and is sometimes rude. You feel like a number. Everything is regimented... You even need to lodge a deposit for getting a pot, plate, knife, fork for use in the kitchen... what a silly rule! Furthermore the signs that tell you everywhere what to do and not a absolutly crazy and annoying!
