More interested in getting peoples money and filling the beds, rather than customer satisfaction. Poor customer service. Expensive just for a bed. Booked 2 beds in a 4 bed dorm and at first they were going to put us in separate rooms!! Had to wait an hour and a half till everyone had checked out who were supposed to! Some dont take into account the 10am check out and then they have to pack up ALL their stuff!

Definitely a party hostel! If you like drinking and loud music till the late evening that's your place to stay. The rooms are very small and not very clean with lockers for the luggage. The facilities were in a very poor condition especially in the evening, the staff was mostly friendly and helpful, the kitchen was ok. Since it's a quite cheap place to stay in the city centre it was ok.

I love YOUTH SHACK!!!! Other then Bunk Backpackers it has been the best hostel I have been in! :) Thanks for the cake, help and laughs!
