It was so nice to stay the night in Youth Hostel in Rome, and meet new nice people. If you are a student and planning a trip to Rome, don't doubt to stay in Youth Hostel.

Youth Station is a little bit farther from the main drag in room but very close to a metro stop! The rooms and restrooms were pretty clean. My bedroom was very cold but once we figured out how to work the heater it was fine. I only stayed for one night but from what I could tell it would be a decent place to stay and you cannot beat the price!

Very nice place and very cheap. Staff people are very friendly. English well spoken. 200 meters away from the subway and 100 from the supermarket open 24 hours per day. Rooms were cleaned every day. I loved to be there..I hope to come back soon.

The hostel does the job of giving you a decent roof and a bed to sleep in. A few percs, the location is right be a metro thats pretty close to the center of the city so commute isnt terrible at all, free internet and computers to use in the lobby, kitchen and supermarket right down the street for money savers, 24 hr/day reception. The bedrooms are really simple but arent bad, they give you clean sheets when you arrive, and a locker and a shared bathroom. all you need for a quick trip!

The hostel is not bad, but I had my bag stolen from my locker at night. My credit cards, passport, driving license, camera, walkman etc. everything was gone and I had terrible times. Be aware of your personal belongings during your stay in Rome and especially at this place. Staff does not even bother about giving you the address of police station, which is needed to get a record to issue a travel document from your embassy. They made me use their phone for local calls though and Internet was free

It is cheap (for a hostel in Rome) so you get a bed and a roof.

We planned a very busy trip so we were quite tired in the evenings. There was a lot of noise in the common room which made it difficult to fall asleep before 12 o'clock.

Cheap hostel but dont let that fool you. its was really good value for the money we paid. A lil bit outa town but you end up staying out anyways. On the w/e went to these party's on a roundabout about a min away. No kitchen though. Def 1st choice for the budget minded.

Air conditioned my a**, it didn't worked, and in the room were like 50 °C... i've never been in hell... but that was close though. Bathrooms were a pig hole, and you could smell humidity everywere. The only thing that was OK was internet in the rooms.
