The shower curtain is not working. The hostel should fix it or have it changed. The toilet floor seems not to be cleaned everyday. A quick one would be appreciated. Breakfast seems to be OK and the staff are great and helpful, esp the reception gal at the afternoon shift.The shower curtain is not working. The hostel should fix it or have it changed. It is great, nice villa close to a nice beach, it takes 20 minutes from the centre so it feels a bit isolated, there is only one restaurant close to the hostel. The people are very helpful and they booked me for my next hostel in losinj. also I had practically a single room as I was the only one in the room. Breakfast is poor, but it was the same in all the other youth hostels. Not a very soulful hostel, more like a cheap hotel. The staff was helpfull but seemed bored with their work. Some walking distance along a heavily trafficked road to get into town. Walk in the other direction and you'll get to a small, stony, white beach! Take the stairs down and take a swim in the turqoise Adriatic! The hostel was run more "factory"-like than other hostels we've been to. Maybe because it's an HI Hostel and the other ones we've been to were not. I prefer the other ones.
