This is a great place in terms of cleanliness and good facilities. To push the rating towards 100%, two things need to happen: WiFi in the WHOLE building (not just the lobby), and install lockers in the rooms please. The complimentary breakfast is great. Staff are helpful. There is a laundromat but its a little expensive.

This was, overall, a very good hostel. It is pricey, but hey, it's Switzerland and you do actually get what you pay for. The free breakfast especially is great. It's not your usual hostel breakfast (scabby toast, dodgy cereal and instant coffee, if that) but it's actually the quality of a (cheapish) hotel breakfast: proper bread with several choices of different cheese, good muesli, yoghurt etc.

Although the location is quite far from the centre, the transport card makes it easy enough to get there. The location right by the lake is perfect for swimming and BBQs. The hostel didn't have a great feel, but the breakfast was brilliant. The lack of self-catering facilities were annoying, but the restaurant wasn't bad value by Swiss standards, and there was a microwave. The bathrooms were good but the bedrooms were a bit sparse: lockers and a mirror would have been welcome!

It may be a little bit tricky to get to (walk 5-10 min then a bus 7 stops that's machine only takes coins) but once you're there you're a two minute walk from the beach at Lake Geneva! The staff was super friendly (shout out to Arben!). Normally i wouldn't have stayed somewhere so expensive, but at least breakfast is included (the usual hostel breakfast - bread, juice, cereal).

This hostel was awesome! 10/10 would recommend if staying in Lausanne. Not sure what everyone's big deal is about it's distance from the old city...? It's not that far at all, and they even give you a free public transport pass for the duration of your stay, which is awesome! Not to mention how clean, simple, and safe Lausanne's public transit system is. Distance aside, this hostel is extremely trendy, welcoming, accommodating, and modern. If you're young and looking for a great time, go here!

Staff was very friendly with any inquiries or when we required help. The hostel is exactly as it says, a youth hostel. So expect to see a lot of kids running around until around eleven pm when it starts to get a little quieter.

You didn't have your own locker that you could put your stuff in and then put a lock on it. The shower was in the toilet so when someone had been shower there was water all over the bathroom floor.

Food was very good but expensive and since there

I came in thinking it was a youth hostel. It's not. I thought I was incredibly misled by the title of this hostel. I stayed with 2 older people well above youth and there were family and kids everywhere. Staff was friendly, but there wasn't much of an atmosphere.

Despite not being near the main town or the train station, the metro and bus were frequent and easy to take. The place is quite large so be prepared for school groups - when that happens the washrooms can get a little crowded. No kitchens but breakfast is good and dining room excellent. Rooms are spacious but quite dark, and there are no lockers despite the rooms being so spacious. They only have bank-style safety deposit boxes at the front desk. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

The staff were helpful but not friendly, it was a little overpriced but then I guess that's Switzerland.
