I arrived and the lady at the desk was very unhelpful. The hostel is like a giant barn and the decor is dated. It's a bus ride from the centre of town to get to the hostel and I would recommend people stay elsewhere if they want location, assistance from the staff (very useful in a historical city like Lucerne) and something with character. Staff was not very friendly or especially helpful, either. Located near the end of the bus route. It\'s only maybe a 10 min walk to \'The Lion\' but another 10 to everything else. Best Hostel I have stayed in so far. A little outside of town, but very walkable. I was in a 20 bed dorm and there were only 3 of us. Extremely clean and bathrooms, very clean.
