How to get there:
Fifteen minutes from the station on foot, or by local bus 'Winkelmatten', as far as the 'Luchre' stop and then 1 minute's walk.
Zermatt is carfree!.
The Matterhorn-Gotthard-Railway brings you to the resort. Free parking in Visp at the station. If you leave your car in Täsch, the last village before Zermatt: Parking costs up to CHF 14.50 per day.
