A very expensive hostel, but so is anywhere in Zermatt. You do get what you pay for though: the breakfast (included) is fantastic, with many kinds of cereal, oatmeal, hot drinks, cheese and meat slices and juices. It is also very clean and modern. We only stayed for one night, so I can't speak much to the atmosphere, but in May when we went, most things are closed and it seemed the people who were staying there knew what they wanted to do and didn't socialize much outside of their own groups.

I really enjoyed my stay in this hostel. The breakfast was great. However, I was a little surprised when I walked into our room (8 person dorm) and there were basically two beds- a large 6-person bed and a small 2-person bed. They were only separated by about three inches of foam. It would've been a problem for me if I didn't know everyone else in the group.

A great hostel with amazing views over the Matterhorn. The staff are fantastic - really helpful and friendly. The breakfast is an all you can eat buffet, and the evening meal is the best deal in town - 4 courses for 15 CHF, well cooked, served by friendly staff and plenty of it; perfect after a days hiking in the mountains. Rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. Toilets and showers very clean. Overall, a great place to stay.

Staffs are very helpful. The place is very nice, clean and secured. A bit far from the station but you can hop on the bus to get to the hostel. Only recommend this hostel if you come to Zermatt. DO NOT GO TO ANOTHER PLACE!! I WARNED YOU...

Really great staff here. They are extremely helpful and really go out of their way for their guests. The breakfast and especially the dinner they offer here is well worth the extra few $ you have to pay. Short walk to the ski lifts, very clean facilities, close to the shops and restaurants as well.

I booked a only girls room, and one of them came with a guy one night, he snored and would not leave when we ask him to. If there is a way we girls can be protected for this situation to happen again will be appreciated, some sign maybe warning "if you come with a guy in the night youll pay for the night of every girl in the room that you disturb

This hostel is up a pretty big hill, so if you are carrying bags you are going to have a rough time! The desk didn't open until 4PM, so we had to leave our bags in the lobby unattended. Many others had done the same but I would prefer to be able to check into our room upon arrival. Helpful staff, free dinner and breakfast which were both pretty good.

The hostel is too faraway from railway station. Can you imagine walking about 20minutes with your hand luggage in the SNOW? And half of your journey will be UPHILL. WIFI is only available in public area. Anyway it is maybe the cheapest hostel in Zermatt. You cannot blame for anything. When I arrived, it was just fully booked, very crowded that night. The atmosphere is good but if you want to have a good rest, I don't recommend this one. 位置太偏,条件也不怎么样,建议多花点钱住正规hotel,或者去tasch住,坐车过来都比住这边方便很多。

Very accommodating hostel! The free breakfast and dinner were beyond my expectations and the friendly staff and clean environment made for a very enjoyable stay. Seeing the Matterhorn outside the window in the morning was the cherry on top!

Good: Very value for money given the location it was located. Breakfast and Dinner were provided and that have saved me quite a bit on meals. Individual lockers were provide Bad: You have to pay meaningless and hefty membership if you are not a member (6 Francs PER NIGHT). Fortunately, I was only staying one night. No lift to your room, so if you need to get to your room on the forth floor with a super heavy luggage, good luck to you. Connecting to the Wifi also seems to be very challenging.

The show there was lovely, i was so happy when i saw it! This place is kinda warm because there are free breakfast and wifi of course.
