The location wasn't the greatest, since it was about a 15 minute tram ride from the city center, and public transit is kind of expensive (like everything else in Zurich...) It wasn't really a youth hostel, since it seemed like a lot of the people there were families or business people. It was very clean though, and the breakfast was really good for a hostel.

atmosphere was non existant, full of families and the elderly. also no kitchen facilities available.

It was a really pleasant stay. Clean and beautiful interior and 5 Points for the excellent cappuccino! Never had so good coffee in a hostel. And the price for the stay is really fair according to prices in Switzerland.

Super friendly and helpful staff, hostel takes credit cards, locking doors and large locker, clean sheets provided, free wifi connection in the lobby, room/bathroom cleaned daily, free breakfast of cereals, toast, meat and cheese. Would stay there again!

Nice and clean, friendly staff and a nice modern environment.

The location is good enough and you can get the number 7 tram direct to the city. I was very disappointed to see everybody huddled like cattle in the lobby as there is no wifi In the rooms, it was a little in convinient. I had to ask for a map and directions. My charger broke unfortunately and I needed reservation for my departing train, I was told " I would have to do it myself" this meant going into the station at night or pay for wi fi on the computers. Overall average. Wasn't impressed

Hunk of junk no atmosphere rooms were pretty rank

Accommodation and staff are perfect. However, I must point out that there isn't kitchen to cook your own food and no fridge. Moreover, there isn't Wifi in the bedrooms, which is pretty lame.

Everything is expensive in Zurich, even an instant noodles cost $7 FR! The location is not the most convenient, you can take Tram #7 and it will lead you to the destination, but it's (just) outside of the map. Difficult for first timer to Zurich to find. Everything else is ok.

Nice clean hostel, lots of families around, simple but yummy breakfast of cereals, toast, meat and cheeses. Bunk beds a bit creaky but clean linens. Good storage lockers in rooms and for after check-out. Wifi poor and only in the common area.

facilities were very clean (rooms and bathrooms), great buffet breakfast with wide range to choose from. Rooms were spacious. Lounge area was great - get very busy as it's the only area where wifi works.

I found the location to be pretty easy to find and get to everything because you only had to take 1 tram and it only took 10 minutes. The only negative things were that the atmosphere sucked and the workers weren't very friendly.

This hostel is very clean and proper but it was very un-accomodating. The wifi only worked in the main lobby, not in the rooms. The showers were push button showers, so you're pushing a button every 20 seconds to keep the water running, very annoying. It is more of a hotel style hostel, so there were families there with children that kept running around and screaming and the staff never said anything. It was average, but clean.

One of the best nights of the trip. Not in a very central location, but it is close to a market and decently close to public transit.

Great hostel. Has wifi and a small shop to purchase water etc. breakfast was nice and they do dinner if you want it.

Clean and modern, free breakfast was great and staff were helpful. A little out of the way, need to get the tram from the main station but only takes 15 minutes.

Very friendly staff. Not right in the centre of Zurich, but good tranport links to the centre, ( approx 10 mins on tram). No kitchen facilities, but microwave and toaster provided. Social atmosphere in the communal area in the evenings. Decent hostel.

Really helpful staff and a beautiful city!

Great Hostel, very clean, Staff very friendly, breakfast was included and it was AWESOME ( not ur regular hostel breakfast), facilities were great and it was not expensive considering it is in switzerland ( 40 CHF per night, but the common mcdonalds combo costs 18 CHF) ONLY 2 THINGS: 1 there is no wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby. 2 The LOCATION IS AWFULL !!! the place is great but is very far away from the city (40 min walk to the city center) or u can pay 4,30 CHF for a single bus ticket

The rooms were very hot, I could almost not sleep. It would be great if some cooling mechanism could be though out. Not necessarily air conditioning, it might be too expensive, however any cheaper alternative would be greatly welcome!
