Just perfect, the owners are very helpful! They even gave me a ride to the monkey park, that was very kind! Japan style bedrooms, 3 types of natural hot bath with energizing water. Also u can wear a yukata just for fun!

A lovely ryokan. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and although the staff hardly speak any english, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Japanese breakfast was served in our own separate room, which was beautifully presented and very tasty. We wish we had the keisekei dinners there. We tried 3 out of the 4 onsen, some are male or female only, but they swap the times round so you can try different ones. Their driver took us up to the snow monkey park for free. Highly recommended

Very nice ryokan with several onsen baths that can be used privately. The staff were really lovely and kindly drove us to the entrance of the monkey park. Our room was big and the ryokan is only a few minutes walk from Yudanaka station. Would definitely stay here again!

The best hotel of our trip! Amazing and really great value. The room was beautiful and very large and although we'd booked with shared bathroom we still had our own toilet and sink. There is a private onsen bath you can use if you want to go in mixed gender with your friends. We did this twice and both times the private was free. The hotel is quiet even though I think it was full. Staff were amazing! Lovely family so generous, even gave us a lift to the monkey park! Would 100% recommend!!!

Yudanaka Seifuso, 2 min walk from train and very easy to find. I stayed 2 nights and both were fantastic. They don't speak much English, but that was not a problem at all. All the staff treat you like family and are very helpfull. They even gave me a lift to the snow monkey park and a gift before I left there. I would stay there again without hesitation. Ps. Hot spa was GREAT....

Most friendly and warm welcome host family i have ever met in japan Nice and spacious room with comfortable leg warmer Blanket. But the indoor bath is too hot to soak in Too bad. We did not have a chance to try the outdoor onsen but it also looks nice

Kind staff, excellent Japanese breakfast (a bit expensive, though). Typically Japanese rooms. Onsens on site. Free transfer to snow monkey park. I never met other travellers in the 'common room' though.

For those seeking an authentic traditional Japanese room and experience this place is great. Prepare for some communication difficulties if you want to do more than just check in at the hotel as the managers don't speak a whole lot of English (though thankfully, I knew enough Japanese to get by) but nonetheless they were warm, friendly and helpful and all the facilities and rooms were top notch, including the onsen bath. Very close to the station so not diffcult to find or access. Book now!

This is a wonderful place to stay! I am thinking of going back to yudanaka just to stay at this ryokan again. The owners are so friendly & the location is fabulous (less than 5mim slow walk from the train station) the owners gave us a lift to the entrance of the monkey park and were so friendly. The onsen were lovely, I tried out 3 of the 4 avalible and loved them all! We also ordered the breakfast ~ it was delicious & filling. Next time I would definitely order the dinner to try. Stay here!!!!

We have an absolutely lovely stay, the family was so friendly and helpful. The meals were amazing and some of the best food we've had and the onsen was lovely, particularly that they had private onsen available.
