Can't rate this ryokan highly enough. When we arrived at 11.30pm on the last train someone was waiting to pick us up and when we were leaving to go to the monkey park they drove us without a second thought. The family are very friendly and the ryokan lovely and traditional.

The guesthouse and its staff were lovely as were the meals and onsen baths. We would have loved to stay longer and would definitely recommend it to others!

great onsen hotel for the price. The staff is very nice, they speak only a little English though, but its a great chance to practice your Japanese :)

There was nothing this ryokan lacked! It was the most beautiful I have stayed in with the best value! It had a charming atmosphere and the two main baths were absolutely gorgeous! The staff was so kind and brought us steamed sweet potatoes on our first evening and sent us home with Nagano apples and a little omiyage! And it was so close to the snow monkeys which are a must visit! There are not enough words to explain how amazin this place was and I would go back to Yudanaka just for another nigh
