Hello, we (pair) stood 3 nights at Ao Nang. The hotelroom in Zabava was OK in total. The location was excelent - at least for those who don't mind the music of a bar close by. The atmosphere of the room was not very cozy. The bath room was the worst part: The shower in the one corner, the drain in the opposite corner behind the toilet: The whole bathroom floor was wet after a shower. Stupid construction + Urinal without flush. In total we could live with it. But could have been better.

The nicest staff I have met on my 1 month trip around Thailand. Great location next to the main street yet still quite. Very clean and well maintained! Loved the puppy of the owner! :)

Wifi is pretty bad, and some of the rooms are next door to a bar so it's pretty loud at night. Other than that, You can't complain! The staff we're especially helpful and happy to help too!

Nice clean rooms with decent wifi. No place to hang out and meet other traveler's at the hostel, but you can mingle in the street around the vendors I guess...

We enjoyed staying in Zabava Guest House so much that we extended our staying for several times! The location is perfect, the bed feels like heaven and staff is super nice. We highly recommend it for couples or people who wants privacy because it is a real guest house not a hostel.

It's clean, it's cheap, it's located in 2nd row to the beach. But a negative aspect is the fact, that there is no commercial area, common space for everybody to hang out or meet. Perfect for couples or friends, not so good if you rely on meeting people.

If you're looking for a few days of rock climbing rather than lounging on the beach and swimming this is a great place to stay. Definitely a budget accomadation and you get what you pay for. There was nothing wrong with this place, just wasn't exactly what we were looking for.

The receptionist should be friendly since she's the face of the hostel but then I don't have a good experience with their receptionist. When we asked question, she doesn't smile and annoyed face were given to us. Other than that, the hostel is excellent

Cheap and good location. This guesthouse is very basic for what you pay - our room smelt so strongly of damp that our bags and its contents smelt for days afterwards. Wifi didn't work the entire time we stayed there so had to keep buying food in cafes to use the internet. There is no where to eat or relax in a communal area so its not good for backpackers. Safe is provided and bed was comfortable.

Right on the beach, near all the shops and restaurants. For the price, you can't beat the location and quality of the room. Was a nice change of pace from most cheap locations in the area. Fast wifi and great air-con allowed us to recharge before heading out. Will definitely check them out again when in the area.
