The hostel is located near the US Consulate & Several large American Hotels, Mariott & Hyett, but far from the airport. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was freshly painted and although simple, was comfortable. Good value for money.

Very dirty! Chennai in itself is dirty though. The place is cheap and you get what you pay for, but I was glad to be traveling alone, as I would never want anyone to have to stay there with me. But, that is India for you...Staff was very nice.

The staff was helpful, although communication was sometimes difficult. The room was pretty good, and location not too far from american embassy.

The hostel was basic which you expect from the price. But it was extremely dirty, by far the worst place we stayed (and we go for very basic cheap accomadation. They also told us the checkout time was 12 am, and demanded we pay more should we wish to stay. This suddenly changed to 8am with the threat of complaining to hostelworld. Staff unfriendly. I would recommend anyone, even on a basic budget pay a few rupees more rather than stay here.
