Comfortable beds. Helpful, nice staff who spoke English very well. Excellent location. But very loud. Had a hard time sleeping due to the loud bar across the street and late-night roommates.

Pretty good hostel. Very well located. Dorms are quite small, but comfortable and clean. Individual (though shared) toilettes and showers are really good. The stuff is freindly and helpfull. The only bad thing is that is very noisy all night long due to the clubs across the street.

Expensive for what it is (9 bed dorms), but they are open to suggestions, and appear to have picked up their game on the breakfast-front. Could work on their reservation process though (apparently my reservation for the 1st night had been 'lost', but they had it for the 2nd night!). Booked through Hostelworld.

Love the hostel, staff and location. Great place to stay and meet people. As a hotel guy, here are some quick things I thought could have been better: shower doors should lock open, so when you are trying to dry yourself, you don't have to hold them open. Also, more padding when the shower door closes (it closes really loud!). Have the night person empty all the trashcans in the bathrooms, so in the morning they are not overflowing. Lastly, give out a free shot here and there; helps sell more!

The receptionist Rose was really helpful and lovely. The hostel also arranged trips and we booked to go to a football match and surfing through them with ease. Only negative was that the lighting in the bathrooms was really dim and so you couldn't really see much in the mirrors when getting ready.

I didn\'t actually get to spend the night at this hostel. I checked-in, but due to change of plans I wasn\'t able to return again. I did get a good impression of the staff - friendly and accommodating - and the hostel in itself is neat and well-designed. The location is also great!

Z.Bra is a boutique hostel with loads of character in a great SAFE location and walking distance from Leblon beach. The staff speak FLUENT English and are happy to help and advice on tours to do and places to go. It is expensive to stop there so I expected the breakfast to be better and be served to midday, the wifi to work in your room and The female dorm to be less CRAMPED (for better value money). but I've stayed there twice and would still recommend.

Excellent location, 2 blocks from the beach. Nice neighbourhood as well. Funky design, with a little locker in your bed. Note that there is not a kitchen. Very friendly staff, Lea especially.

The Zbra hostel is great hostel for whom is searching a nice stay/ well location and good fun in Rio de Janeiro. The hostel is located in Leblon, one of best neighborhoods in RJ, near to beachs and nice access to buses, metro and taxis. The staff were always prompt to support the guests and very friendly. I really recommend !

I stayed there for 2 Nights, the staff members are all very friendly. The breakfast was ok and like every breakfast in other hostels. The location is very good, close to the beach of leblon. If you´re looking for a hostel close to the beach and a good price, choose Zbra.

Great location, stylish hostel, friendly staff who are fluent in English, comfy beds with bedside cabinets and bed lights and a great place to meet people Downside - no wifi in rooms and a disappointing breakfast considering how much they charge to stay.

I had an amazing stay at Zbra. It is more expensive than other hostels, but the location is unmatched: safe, two blocks from leblon beach, a club & bars close by, and a block away from public transit. It's Definitly the coolest looking hostel I've been to. The bunk beds are super solid & comfy. Also, there's a huge locker next to each bed where you can safely charge your laptop/phone. Everyone who works there is super cool & helpful. A great place to meet people from around the world.

This was my first time in hostels. Everyday people comes from all countries; I met peoples from many countrys. I did the city tours recommended from the employees of the hostel. The neighborhood is very good, but... expensive food, I recommend going have dinner in Copacabana neighborhood is much cheaper, you need to take a bus and save money.. is very easy...,
