Decent and reasonably priced hostel in the expensive city of Milan. Located just outside the city centre, but a decent walk to duomo and other attractions. Good free breakfast. The staff were not super helpful with recommendations for restaurants but we're able to help with booking trains, maps and location of a swimming pool for us! Rooms didn't have lockable lockers or keys to the rooms, but it seemed like a fairly safe place.
Right choice for backpackers. Location is very good.
Well located and complete with basic amenities for a hostel. Wifi only works in common area one level below the rooms. My room had a really stale smell. Didn't hear or encounter bed bugs so I guess that's good.
A nice place located between 3 main city points: the center, train station and the night life area. The bed was fantstic, it felt like at home there))) Security situation is strange. The tsaff can wake you up at night to check if you sleep on your own bed or not. Very good kitchen with everything you need. Internet point if you don't have your laptop and the price is reasonable.
Awesome place for young people especially if you are staying in Milan for the weekend. I was only there for a night but meeting the people there made me want to stay longer. The rooms are pretty small but you are getting what you pay for and its just a place to sleep anyway. The beds on the other hand are VERYY comfy which was a plus.
Very dirty .i have bug bites all over my upper arms and face

Legitimately big bugs under my mattress cover, no bed bug bites but other people complained about them when I was there, flimsy is the word I'd describe for this crib.
It was good overall. Facility was good and cheap drinks at the bar, staff ok, not very friendly. The rooms were clean but very hot and loads of Mosquitos. 1 st night was an amazing sleep and the second was one of my worst.
Where do I start!? Rude staff. The rooms are big but they cram as many beds as they can in, which means there is no space for bags. The showers are terrible. We stayed in the 16 bed doom, but there was only a dividing wall between rooms so we were actually staying in a 32 bed dorm which was crappy to say the least. There are rules on every surface that feels like your on school camp. Completely over priced. The only two good things about this hostel is 1) the kitchen 2) the common area.
GOOD - you can walk to the centre of milan from the hostel, they give you information for everything you need nearby, free breakfast, kitchen BAD - showers are horrible, its like a trickle of water down the wall, no wifi in rooms, you have to pay to access the internet on one of their computers, no lock on dorm doors, mattresses are uncomforatble
Stayed here for two nights and have no complaints about the facilities, except that the water-pressure in the showers was a bit fickle and wifi only worked downstairs --- which did not affect our group all that much. Everyone that worked the reception desk downstairs was friendly and knowledgable (and one male employee is particularly handsome, wish I got his name..)! Not to mention they sold cheap bottles of wine at the reception desk!
It takes about 10 min to get from the metro station to zebra hostel (and with luggage and those crooked sidewalks it's a struggle) and at the time i was there, the nearest tram stop wasnt working. good information system, nice facilities.
Financial performance is good. I have stayed 2 night. It was enjoyful and relax. But their bathroom has a little bit problem. But free breakfast is perfect :)

Not the cleanest hostel in my travels but definitely a good atmosphere and worth the price for sure. Be sure and bring your own lock for lockers. Staff and people were great, offer good drink and frozen food options as well.

Gets the job done but nothin special. No locks on doors, lockers don't fit regular size locks so useless. Not very clean facilities, and got eaten alive by mosquitoes for three nights
The hostel was in an alright location, it was possible to walk to the main city and catch the tram to navigli right from the door. The security was a bit strange with a swipe key in and out of the bar/common room but no locks on the doors to the rooms. The wifi only worked in the bar which was annoying if you wanted to Skype because the Music was loud after 7ish. But it was an awesome place to meet people, they had a great free breakfast and the €5 dinners were pretty good with the cheap drinks
The zebra hostel has the right idea but execution needs to be worked on. For example, staff weren't always ready to assist & sometimes the English wasn't so great so the questions weren't answered properly. There's a great party vibe downstairs, all day long, but seeing as all guests need to use the common room, perhaps it should only be a party vibe from a certain time. The dorms are in need of an upgrade. Our lights didn't work & the door didn't even close properly. No floor space etc...
It's too expensive, like everything in Milan.
