You would be quickly fooled by the fun looking interior of this hostel. The walls scream with energy and vibrant colors, but the atmosphere is dank and bleak, and upon closer inspection even the interior screams of regret of upkeep. Still one may hope for the best as the staff are quite nice and eager to accomadate. Though with each step up to the dormitory floors one begins to realize a bone tingling chill, as the place is quite cold. This frustration is further complemented with other issues.

Cheesy zebra decoration. Dorms are like a hallway (around 4 x 12m) with a small window on one edge and the entrance (no door!) on the other. Their walls dont go up to the ceiling: "Good" cause you dont die sufocated and terrible acoustic isolation between the dorms. Showering area is dressing-room style and small. People on the hallway may see half naked ppl showering because door wont shut automatically. Fire alarm turned on without reason at night and staff couldnt turn it off for 45 min+.

Very smelly in the dorm hallway (although that may have just been someone's luggage), soap dispenser had no soap and hand dryer didn't work in mens bathroom. Staff was very nice and helpful, wifi is fast and free, nightly rates are good, complimentary breakfast is great, and security was very good. Location is good, considering how big Milan is, especially once you figure out the public transportation.

There seemed to be absolutely no heat in the enitre building. It was freezing. When you have to wear a scarf and a hat and a jacket to sit in the lounge to use your computer, there is something wrogng. Also, the showers had very low pressure and cold water at times. These weren't during times of other people taking showers; I made sure of that that way anything I could do to make my shower warmer, I did.

This youth hostel looks nice in the add, but when you are in the room there is : -No heating -Spider webs -Many signs all over the place warning you that everything is FORBIDDEN (eating drinking etc..), and threatening you with fines. -Noisy, even when uncrowded (no door, incomplete walls) -No light in the corridor and only a poor one in the dorm-room FARM ATMOSPHERE: -Pass electronic barriers with a card to enter and to leave (of course if you lose it you are fined) I cant write more...

The hostel was great. It was annoying that you have to pay for internet and the rooms were absolutely freezing. But the staff was really nice and helpful.

Great staff and nice atmosphere, with a great lounge area - breakfast was very good - only problems for me was the showers are not the best and i got mosquito bites at night - which i didnt experience at other hostels in milan.

The ladies toilet ran out of toilet paper. The shared room was small and hot. Compared to other hostels where the breakfast is free, the breakfast was ok. At least there was a bit of variety. The communal area with the bean bags and shaggy carpet was very dirty. Nice helpful staff.
