Hostel itself was not in the best location, since it was nearly a 15 minute walk to the closest metro station. The dorms were very loud and the walls are paper thin, so don't expect much more than what you pay for. As for socializing, the lobby area was a great common place and everyone was always sitting down there discussing their travels with new friends.

Facilities are fairly basic but very clean and organised. Entryway is a bit intimidating but don't fear, the atmosphere is actually very easygoing, lively and friendly. Pro tip, bring your own lock for the lockers so you don't need to purchase one

The Hostel looks like somebody took care about the Hostel and spender much Energy in it, but after some years the owner changed…. It's dusty, pretty warm all the time - impossible to have a room with any privacy because it is so full - even in the big lounge.. I really would just recommend it for sleepovers - The Employers are as friendly as they have to.

Bathrooms are dirty and not well kept, staff seems like they dont wanna be there. No a/c in my room.. Overall I would not recommend.

The toilets were not cleaned up properly and shower where very bad. The room that I stayed in was with out an ear-conditioner and the window was blocked by the bank-bed so you cannot open it widely which was unconformable as it was summer and the degree over 30, and the other thing is that the bed was so horrible and uncomfortable. The atmosphere was nice, the location wasnt that bad and staff member were very helpful.

Very good hostel. Easy to meet people and all facilities are good, just an awkwardly shaped bathroom and shower. If you're looking to meet people in a cool environment you should come here.

The hostel is in general great, good atmosphere and everything else. But the AC in our bedroom was not working, so now in the summer with no AC was like hell, extremely hot inside; even more because it was a bedroom for 10 with only a small window... the location is quite good near to a metro station and you can go walking to the duomo

Overall good experience. The common area is one of the nicest I've been in, and there's plenty of space to interact with other guests. I found the hostel generally clean and well maintained, and it was nice to have the free breakfast included. Security may be an issue for some guests, however. They are very secure on who enters the hostel, but after that there are no locks on any of the rooms - there are lockers provided though.

Not an overly clean feeling hostel and it just felt loud, probably a combination of it being loud and the decorations. It was a thoroughly average hostel. It was all fine, but I didn't love anything.

The staff were not welcoming or helpful. The showers were disgusting! Not only was there no temperature option, but the water just kind of spit out at you. The doors did not shut (a problem when you're naked) and the water from the left shower flows into the right shower. In my six girl dorm there were only 2 plugs. It's 2014, virtually every person has at least one device they need to charge over night.

Good hostel. Far away from the city center though. Clean and nice bar.

Toilets in the male bathroom were in terrible condition. Room was very poorly lit and didn't match their pictures.

This is a party hostel! Very young and with a great atmosphere, if you like partying and loud music. There's zebras and a lot of colors everywhere, very fun. Good kitchen, with two ovens, but just one fridge. I would definetly stay here again. But, during summer, I can imagine that the 16 people dorms will be super warm. Keep that in mind.

Loud house music serenaded my walk down a dank entry hallway with a sign at the end: "zebra hostel: a place for fun." Terrifying. Immediate impression was to get out fast and find another hostel. However since night was approaching quickly and my bags were heavy I decided to stay. Checked in with a guy named "evil," who was very kind and helpful despite his name. I ended up enjoying my two night stay here although the place could really use a good cleaning.

Disgusting and broken down; they don't let you bring in outside drinks either because they want to charge you ridiculous prices at their own bar. Staff was rude, and when we paid for an 8-bed suite we ended up receiving a 12-bed one.

Staff were nice, rooms were fine but the negative signs around the place killed the vibe... No wifi in rooms either
