Not an overly clean feeling hostel and it just felt loud, probably a combination of it being loud and the decorations. It was a thoroughly average hostel. It was all fine, but I didn't love anything.

The staff were not welcoming or helpful. The showers were disgusting! Not only was there no temperature option, but the water just kind of spit out at you. The doors did not shut (a problem when you're naked) and the water from the left shower flows into the right shower. In my six girl dorm there were only 2 plugs. It's 2014, virtually every person has at least one device they need to charge over night.

Good hostel. Far away from the city center though. Clean and nice bar.

Toilets in the male bathroom were in terrible condition. Room was very poorly lit and didn't match their pictures.

Best place to meet new people and party, but worst showers I have ever used!

This is a party hostel! Very young and with a great atmosphere, if you like partying and loud music. There's zebras and a lot of colors everywhere, very fun. Good kitchen, with two ovens, but just one fridge. I would definetly stay here again. But, during summer, I can imagine that the 16 people dorms will be super warm. Keep that in mind.

Loud house music serenaded my walk down a dank entry hallway with a sign at the end: "zebra hostel: a place for fun." Terrifying. Immediate impression was to get out fast and find another hostel. However since night was approaching quickly and my bags were heavy I decided to stay. Checked in with a guy named "evil," who was very kind and helpful despite his name. I ended up enjoying my two night stay here although the place could really use a good cleaning.

Disgusting and broken down; they don't let you bring in outside drinks either because they want to charge you ridiculous prices at their own bar. Staff was rude, and when we paid for an 8-bed suite we ended up receiving a 12-bed one.

Staff were nice, rooms were fine but the negative signs around the place killed the vibe... No wifi in rooms either

The number of signs and the bars separating the common room gave the hostal a very prison feel.

The location is good, especially compared to the price, but the beds are (very) bad, with a metal bar in the middle. The noise in the big rooms is important at night, because there is no real separation between the rooms, the sound goes through a curtain... The toilets are not very clean and practicle, not friendly.

This hostel would be fine for one or two nights. A week was too long for me. It was weird that they had cameras everywhere. Didn't feel trusted and I think it made the guests not trust each other either. Showers are terrible. No way of controlling the temperature and the plug was blocked so water came up almost to your ankles. My bed had bed bugs in it. I moved beds and they said they would give the infested bed a thorough clean. Then the next night, a new guest was in the bed...

Large communal bathroom smelled of mold and humanity. Mattresses are the thinnest I've seen. Lounge was pretty good and staff are good. Kind of a bad location if you want to walk places. far from the center, far from the train, and far from the bars.
