Excellent! I've traveled and stayed in hostel a lot and this is by far the best hostel. The room was very clean and big. Staff were attentive and nice. I was really enjoying my stay in this hostel.

7 bed female dorm. Come here expecting zen! The lobby feels like a cozy living room! Things to note: - Healthy breakfast with homemade yogurt. - The kitchen is not open for cooking, just a fridge and microwave. - Bring your own small lock. Generic Masterlock didn't fit. - The location is in 10-15 min walking of a plethora of bars and resturants. - A laptop is available in the lobby. - Reliable wifi Thank you to the kind staff who also spoke great English! Shoutout to Eduardo!

Zen Hostel is exactly that...very Zen. It's in a quiet neighborhood of Sao Paolo at the end of the Green Line in Villa Magdalena. There's not a whole lot to do in that area, although there are a few restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk. The Hostel itself is decorated with Thai and Indian artifacts so it's very Ohm and relaxing. The staff are very friendly, although only a few of them speak English. Most only know Portuguese. Definitely worth a visit though!
