Directions to Zen Hostel

Free shuttle (only available after 4pm) from Fubasami station on the JR Nikko line or Myojin station on the Tobu Nikko Line.

We can not pick up at Nikko station.

In the morning the shuttle is only available to bring guests to the World Heritage area (Toshogu Shrine, Rinnoji Temple, Futarasan Shrine and Shinkyo Bridge).

If you visit the world heritage area before coming to the hostel, there are lockers at JR Nikko or Tobu Nikko stations. Lockers at the stations cost 300 yen for small and 700 yen for large. If the lockers are full, give you backpacks to the JR station attendant for �410 per bag.

If you are transferring at Utsunomiya, try to call before you board the JR Nikko line (platform #5). Be careful, not every JR Nikko line train from Utsunomiya goes to JR Nikko. Some end at JR Kanuma station.
