The hostel was nice, but a bit hard to find so defo print a Google map page before wandering round Rome when you have just arrived! The room was clean, the bed comfy, the bathrooms well kept ad breakfast was perfectly adequate. The only down side was the cat that lived in the living room... Fine though if you're a cat love!! We enjoyed the familiar atmosphere Giacomo created in his little B&B. He was a great host. Facilities and rooms were clean, breakfast was tasty. Nothing more to ask for.

We stayed in Zen House B&B for a week. We felt immediately at home, the ambience is very warm and the host very polite and friendly, makes very good breakfast and hepled us with anything we needed. The place is very nice and clean and very close to metro and bus stations. If we go in Rome again, we will definitely stay again in Zen House!!

Could not ask for a better host than giacamo. Does anything for you inluding showing you places round the neighbourhood, picking you up and he puts on a great breakfast. Location good too. Restaurants were great and food far cheaper than the middle of rome. Wouldnt stay anywhere else in rome.

Zen House is like a pearl, is not easy to find and have a great value... Giacomo is simply the best host I ever meet. He takes care of every guest and share his knowledge and tips to each guest. The place is very nice and clean. It is a bit out of the city center, but very well connected, with public transport, and only 5/20 minutes alking distance from Colosseo and Fori Imperiali. I really suggest Zen House

The Zen Hostel, as its name suggests, is a friendly, warm and relaxed place to stay, and the host Giacomo, is equally friendly and welcoming. Giacomo is always willing to help, providing maps and insider knowledge on the best places to visit, including some off the tourist-trail, and the best ways of getting there

Atmosphere is very relaxing, the best B & B I have stayed to, the owner would do anything for his guests, very pleasing guy!! Staying here is like staying to your first cousin?(slash)/ best buddy's flat!! I wouldn't stay anywhere in Rome but here. Bus 87 is just a block away, which goes through the main attractions including the Colosseum.

What's a great stay. Giacomo welcomes you as you are an old friends. The place is very clean and cheap, located in a typical roman residential area, very well connected with public transports. Thiis lovely place is made for travellers that want to find a simple and familiar place in a low budget for Rome standards. I hope that Zen House remain as is this for long time. Thanks!

The hostel is nice, breakfast is rich and good, The host knew the turkish way and prepared for me even tomatoes, cucumber eggs and olives for breakfast, grazi Susanna! Metro is 10 mins walk, but in 15 mins you can reach Coliseum and there are several busses instead of the metro that goes towards the center. It's a pearl in Rome for kindness and good rates

Rooms are homey, cats are very cute. On the whole very pleasant stay. Only thing is that it's still a 15min walk to nearest metro station.

After one week sleeping in a hall without heating, open window and an ice-cold shower outside I just wanted am bed and a hot shower. Zen House gave me more. It was a stay at home away from home. Clean, warm and a comfartable bed. Really nice and helpfull staff. Great location away from all the tourist traps. It is cheap and they offer good breakfast (especially for Rome/Italy) Thank you! P.s. I would have stolen nearly the two lovely cats ;)
