Worst Hostel we've ever been! We are Students and we really don't have high standard but: the room was too small for the 6 people, you couldn't open the window, so the smell was almost unbearable! The bathrooms were dirty on the floor (we didn't took our Shoes of) and full of mildew! There were 3 dirty knives for the whole guests for breakfast. AND suddenly the Hostel closed because of the fire brigarde and all guests had to sleep on the floor of the bar..Even without plankets or pillows!!

The hostel was almost dangerous : mushrooms in the bathroom, no hot water (sometimes no water at all), only a microwave, the fridge was full and a lot of food was no more good to be eaten. Staff was sleeping in the sofa the all day and wasn't nice. Only 2 forks in the little kitchen and no common room. I've never seen such a thing, we really hesitated to cancelled and go somewhere else. The mushrooms in the bathroom due to the humidity and absence of whasing was really disgusting.

The location was alright, but the hostel was very dirty; especially the toilets and showers, the hadn't been cleaned for at least 3 weeks. Breakfast was included, but very poor.

I had a very enjoyable stay at the hostel where I met people from other countries. During my stay at the hotel I was impressed with the friendliness and service of the staff, the good atmosphere in the hostel, the clenliness of the rooms/facilities and the hostel's prime location. I will definitely rebook with this hostel when I decide to visit London again.

Summary: Price/locale makes it a reasonable value, but ya get what ya pay for! Bring earplugs! Bad: paper thin walls in rooms, "cleaners" doing stuff at 2am, yet everything was filthy, showers w intermittent scalding hot/freezing water resulting in 5 second windows of temperate water you could use at a time combined with the low water pressure resulted in each shower taking about 30mins just to wash hair. Good: free cornflakes, toast & tea in morning & only 10mins walk from Angel tube station.

I stayed recently for a night , What a great location just a short walk to the upbeat Angel high street. I checked in about 9pm and was greeted by very friendly and helpfull staff member ( Eddie ) who showed me around the place . The dorms are ok n size and clean fresh bedding provided , free internet access which is superfast, nice hot showers on each floor, the breakfast is included in the price too , overnight stay in london for a tenner cant beat it for value !! I would recomend it anyday.

In hostel was cold, toilets and bathroom very poor: it need repair. It was one toilet and bathroom for about 18 peoples. Breakfast was very similar. Staff every time don't know how many peoples live in the rooms, and in the midnight they come to room to check the bills (it was twice in week). Price is good and free wi-fi. Not so far from Tesco Market and metro station Angel in very quiet area. For short stay enaugh, for longer not ok.

WOW!! This place is such a joke. They gave our room away at first so we had to stay in an 8 rather than 6 person dorm. The beds looked like they hadnt been cleaned in a while. When we woke up a dude was sleeping with his naked ass hanging off the bed under me. Worst Hostel

Not very welcoming, the only time the staff gave a toss was when i was leaving and they say to give a good review, bit too late fellas!! Rooms and beds were very comfortable but no lockers, the place really needs a tidy up especially the bathrooms, (one toilet with no toilet seat) but for the 6.90 i paid per night its wat one shld expect i suppose, stil no excuse for the rude staff tho.

It was the worst hostel i have never known. We just left after seing the place, we couldn't stay, even one night. It's very very dirty, it doesn't look like the pictures in the website, the reception is in a bar very weard. There are no facilities in the kitchen, and there is no security. I think this hostel is illegal. And be careful, if you cancel, like us, there is no refunds possible. We lose a lot of money in this story.

Unfortunately I am limited by the number of letters on here so cannot give a full account of the extremely bad experience me and my friends had at this youth hostel from the very moment we stepped in. We had made our bookings months before arrival for a fantastic new year celebration , but our enjoyment was ruined by that place and we ended sleeping outside on new year's eve and find a different hotel for the following night. Appalling service! The guys behind the counter was slow and aggressif.

definitely the worst hostel I've ever stayed in. all the staff were rude apart from one guy who wasn't the most friendly, but he wasn't rude. The cleaner was a horrible person. I hate to sound so negative but it truly is the worst place. Security is not good at all. breakfast was okay, but often they ran out of milk for example and when you asked for more they made it seem like it wasn't their job to cater for you. the price may be cheap, but for what you get I'd rather pay that little bit more
