As this hotel was overbooked, we were placed in a next-door newly-opened hotel Heirloom Istanbul that offered impeccable accommodation for our stay. Sincerely helpful staff and great breakfast. ZenkaRooms was somewhat tricky to find as they had no visible signposts on the street.

Our stay was wonderful in all respects. As some reviewers already mentioned, it's a little weird that there's no real desk/staff responsible for the guest rooms. Nevertheless, breakfast is really nice and the (Cihangir) style is impressive. Go for it!

Nice rooms in this quite central part of Istanbul. excellent breakfast included - one orders from the breakfast menu in the accompanying café. There was some confusion on what we could order, I could only order one particular breakfast, next day I was allowed another one, the staff spoke no English. No matter what I received it was great! The rooms were good. Fantastic internet. Mostly clean, we did need buy our own cups as those in the room were dirty. Nice place though!

Beautiful, modern rooms; amazingly comfortable beds; great location (5 min walk to the centre of the 'modern part' of Istanbul; delicious breakfast; friendly and helpfull staff. Only negative aspect would be the bad sound isolation (as in you can hear your neighbours) but it didn't really bother us cause we went out of season and were practically on ourselves. And anyway waking up every morning by a 'singing' muezzin and squeaking seegulls is actually awesome. I can't wait to go back!

Our room was spacious with super high-ceilings. The bed was super comfortable with fresh/clean linens. Nice location in town as you get to see another side to Istanbul and are not directly on the major shopping street. Great breakfast, helpful and accommodating staff. Our only problem was that the bathroom spelled terribly and we had to keep the vent going all the time. However, this may have been due to a neighborhood water issue at the time!
