Zeugma Hostel offers \"4 beds dorms\" on hostels.com. What they don\'t say is that the hostel is actually in the basement of Zeugma Hotel (where most the pictures come from by the way). There are around 30 beds there, separated into \"rooms\" of 4 beds by mere curtains. No place to leave your luggage or to move around, no safety box, no privacy, no security, and there are a total of 3 showers and 3 toilets for everyone. I\'m glad I stayed only one night and then I moved elsewhere.

This hostel is a DISASTER!!!!! We had a reservation there but when we saw this bacement with no windows we decided not to stay there. it's actually one big room with reception, bathroom, sleeping area, luggage storage in one! "room" or better place where you can sleep has no walls it is separated from the others with curtines. its not cheap 16 euro per night for NO conditions! i've been to many hostels and i never met such disrecpect to customers. i dont understand good recomendation about it

this hostel is a scam. the dorms are actualy a big 30 bed dorm with curtains between. it is situated in a basement with poor ventilation. on hostel world it says that it has 24 hour reception, and storage facilities. it is actualy one big room where luggadge storage, one computer, common room eating area and reception and 15ish bunkbeds al in the same room. 4 tiny showers and one toilet. i dicht my reservation after one nigth and moved around the corner to the bahaus hostel, much better.

Zeugma hostel was so nice. I was shocked when saw that the hostel was in the basement. But there was clean and comfortable beds, delicius breakfast, friendly staff. And also The hotel was a great location. If I go Istanbul again, I will stay there again.

For me this location for this price is unbeatable! The man who staffed the desk was nice, helpful and a diligent worker. You do have to be willing to deal with less privacy and hygiene.

We were a little surprised when we got there and the hostel is in a basement with everyone in one room divided by curtains. The beds and rooms were clean, although the showers were a little dodgy. The guy who runs it is very friendly and helpful, the breakfasts are good, and you can't ask for a better location, about 3 minutes from the Blue Mosque and the Aya Sofia. There are no lockers or safe boxes, but we didn't have problems with things getting stolen. Good value for the price.

The Zeugma Hostel looks a little sketchy at first because everything is in one room. However, for the low price, you get free sheets, towels, and a really good breakfast! The turkish coffee was better than what we had at a restaurant. And the location is excellent, just a short walk from the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sofia. The guy that works there was super friendly and nice, even with his limited English.

The hostel was in a great location and served a delicious breakfast. The 'rooms', however are separated by curtains and the hostel is basically one giant dorm with no common space. Good price though, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Me and my friend have booked online a room with four beds. When we arrived at the hostel, it was shoking for us to see, where we are going to sleep. The Zeugma hotel looks good from the outside . The Zeugma Hostel is in the basement. That means, there are no windows there. As we went downstairs, we saw, that there were no rooms, but one room only and about 28 beds. The so-called rooms were separated by curtains.Incredibly tight. There were no possibility to store the luggage. But nothing got lo

The staff was very nice, the only issue was that the hostel was represented as the hotel online. It was not as expected when arrived.

While the hostel was in a great location they need to work on a few things, mainly cleanliness.

Farook and his brother are excellent hosts and that's what makes the Hostel excellent!! 3 cheers to that. the floor mat was unclean and the floor was unswept these are the only 2 things that were visibly disturbing. All in all it was the best stay i could imagine. Job well done Farook!! 3 cheers to that
