The hotel seamed descent, but they didn't even know about hostel world and they wanted to charged us much more than expected. They staff was awfully rude , they even told us to call hostel world service but that they would not lend us a phone to call. i can understand chinese but they insisted in speaking english and it was not understandable. We told them to show us the room, it was fifth floor and it does not has lift. it is difficult to find and you have to go through many alleys.

Located VERY close to the Beijing train station, convenient, but could be uncomfortable for the noise sensitive. Free bicycle rental is fantastic for Beijing. Other than that, nothing special.
Quite difficult to find but fine for access to train station.
the main downfall was it took as an hour and half to find the hotel!the directions on the site are awful. the marrott hotel was really hard to find as its just behind another hotel. i recommend that you head east from train station and take right hand road/alleyway just after bus station and before a approx 8 storey hotel with big red neon lights (cant remember the name). this will lead you towards a police station at end of road, turn right and the hotel should be there.
This hotel is right next to the train station. The directions on Hostelworld are not great. As you head east from the train station take the first right into an alley that is right before the new Marriott. Go to the end and take a right. The hotel is very clean and has a wonderful Chinese restaurant with an English menu.
This is a great place. Close to Tianamin Square and the central train station. Is warm and friendly. The only problem was when I checked in that they have never heard of hostelworld.com so I lost my 10% deposit. Is the same for both places we stayed in China so it is better to ring the hotel first and book
