Decent, basic hostel. I slept very well. Very good value for money. A strange system of only one key per dorm, but it seemed to work out ok. It's outside the tourist bubble around the Acropolis so you get a better feel for what Athens is really like.
Very good place and nice staff.

No blankets and towels. Neither does the bathroom have a lock. Friedly stuff and very clean rooms.
Very worth for the money, but the internet was unstable during my stay there.
Only stayed one night, but staff were friendly, right around the corner from metro, bathroom in each room. Not a place to meet new people, only a fridge and mircowave for kitchen facilities. Good value for money though :) recommended.
The wifi barely worked and I woke up with bed bug bites all over me.
Infrastructure was very lower than what I expected. neither Wifi nor computers worked properly
Lots of stairs even to get to reception. AC worked fine but windows didn't shut
Only spent one night due to transit issues and it was perfect. Tool the bus from Rafina and it ended up being 50m from last bus stop. Modern bathroom, nice enough beds and air conditioning all for a cheap price. Would stay there again.
Bed had holes in it shower broken tv plugs broken looks like the room is falling apart

The hostel is clean basically but lacks facilities. Slow wifi, very slow computer, no kitchen. But it would be a good place to stay if you just need a bed to sleep as it's just 10 euros a day.
Zorbas Hotel is interesting. The staff is available 24/7 which is very helpful when you need some questions answered. The rooms are a bit tight but the beds were nice and comfy which is what you really need. The location is a but secluded down a small side street. The biggest plus for this hostel is that it's across the street from a metro station, very easy to get around and back to your room for rest.
This place is definitely you get what you pay for. You have to pay extra for a sheet to cover you. The location is right next to the metro which is good and accessible to get to but can get creepy late at night. Metros stop running at 12:30 so definitely use the buddy ststem.
Great little hostel. Good staff, clean and over all exactly what you expect. If i return to Athens i will check here first. The Bar is never open though :(
For only 9€ i guess this is what one should expect. The hotel is very old and the staircases very narrow. Also it would be amazing, if somebody could vacuum the floor in the upper level, as a nice little collection of every travellers hair who stayed in this room has come together there.Gross! Also, the staff was friendly during the day, at night they became most unfriendly. The point of having a bar, but not allowing people to sit there in the evenings and simply talk is unlogical to me...
The only good thing about it was that it had a/c.
Friendly staff and an excellent option if you need to catch an early AM bus to Rafina port- it's 5 minutes walking distance to the bus station. Otherwise the common area was dirty, there was no kitchen, and it's far away from the main sights in Athens. Should be cheaper for what you get.
the staff is really friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is also really good. but as for the location, on the one hand it's close to the city centre but all the area near Omonia isn't very safe as there're a lot of strange people. so be careful with your bags in the street
Hi, Zorbas is nice. Most of the time, the person on the desk was nice, but sometimes one of the them (administrators) was unnecessary rude. In any case, the place is good if you want to get a trip in Athens. It is safe and so clean. And, Anasthasia, the girl on the desk, was really nice with us. The real problem with Zorbas is that does not have enough airing, and when people smokes at the bar or the living room, the air is so hard.
Our first floor dorm was loud because it was right next to reception and just above the downstairs bar. On several nights, the bar had loud music going until 2am. No sheets or towels provided. Common room in basement is dark and stuffy. Good location and helpful staff if you just want a base from which to wander Athens.
