Location is very convenient. You can walk to the metro station in less than a minute, and then travel to the more central areas of the city, which are not so far. It is a cheap price, with good value for money, and for that the expectations should not be so high. The hostel is a bit old and the facilities might need a refurbishment, but they serve the purpose of a place with a bed to sleep in. Warm water in shower was not regular. Walking tour is recommended.

Nice little place, only a 20 min walk to the Acropolis and 1minute from the metro. Keep in mind that its very simple and not in the safest of areas. You pretty much get what you pay for. I would stay here again.

My friend and I basically moved in for a week due to travel issues and the staff was absolutely amazing! They made us feel at home, helped us in any way possible to fix our problem and made sure we had an authentic and great experience in Athens. Safe location, fantastic free walking tour, great price, walking distance from town, metro right outside, we would not hesitate to stay here again! Also, a lot of cool people stay here, we made many friends and had a great time at the bar in the hostel!

The hostel staff were super friendly and helpful however they didn't have a lot of information on tours. It was situated net to the metro and a taxi rink which was great, but not in the best part of town. The rooms were clean and cleaned throughout my stay and a had a double room that was quite large. Overall, good value for money.

The property was pretty worn down and not particularly clean. There was no wifi and the one of the two computers was not working. The staff was fine, but not anything special.

Excellent staff! The facilities could stand to be updated--there was a weird smell in our room one day. But it was more than made up for by how helpful the front desk guy was; he gave us great recommendations for a breakfast place, the nearest grocery store, how to get around, etc. And he let us check in early to our rooms, which we appreciated hugely! The free walking tour offered by the hostel was also terrific; we didn't have that long in town, but we saw all the most important sights! :)

This place is in a good location, right next to a great square in Athens with good restaurants! The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable, and the staff are really nice and willing to help you out in any situation! The WIFI is pretty good, too, I was easily able to get it in my room.

Great vale for money and a really close to the metro and about 40 mins walk to the majority of must see things in Athens. The highlight of our stay though had to be the free walking your with George. George is fantastic. He has a great knowledge of the area and is full of useful hints about where to go and what to eat after the tour. If you get the chance for his tour then definitely take it.

Zorbas staff were so accommodating. On both occasions we arrived between 12pm and 1am and there was problem with us checking into our room . The room and facilities are basic but value for money if you are just needing somewhere to sleep and so easy to access from the tube and access to restaurants/fast food. The walking tour is definitely worth doing and you get picked up from the hostel.

Zorbas hostel is excellent- highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Athens. It's located right at Victoria Square & two stops Monastiraki on the green line & it's centrally located, so you can get anywhere on the train in a short amount of time. There are tons of shops & cafe's right around the area. The staff is amazing & are very helpful- they go above & beyond to help. free wireless, computer if needed, bathroom inside the room, friendly, centrally located ... You cannot beat Zorbas!!
