Getting the negatives out of the way first, the shower was awful and it's pretty far from everything except the Archaeological Museum. Still, despite lacking certain things I'm used to it had a very nice atmosphere and the staff were extremely patient and put up with a lot of questions. I would recommend it.

Overall this place is ok for a backpacker. The beds were comfortable for hostel beds. The wifi worked well. There was no real common room that people hung out in. But you get what you pay for - cheapest hostel in athens means you're going to get a lower quality. All in all, if I was just looking for a place to sleep this place would do.

It was great to come back to a hostel that has ac and computers. Also, helpful that they allow printing for a small fee. It would have been nice if the bar downstairs was open longer, as we didn't get out free shot that they advertise. The free walking tour was great! English George was full of beneficial information.

Great staff. Located in a somewhat seedy side of Athens, but secure and safe. All patrons were congenial. Pretty clean.

Small shower and water sprinkels all over the bathroom. Beds are clean. Staff if friendly and helpful. Location is good (15 minutes walking to main atractions and metro is just aroud the corrner.

They should improve the rooms starting to the bathroom

The price is cheap, and you get what you pay for. The staff is nice and the rooms are solid, but the place is old, not super clean, and not very well located. Still, it's a good value for your money.

The staff is very friendly!!! The location of the hostel is good because it is just half a minute walk from the metro station and near the center of the city. Our room was cozy and clean. Generally, during our stay in Zorbas Hostel we felt comfortable and safe! Well done!

A bit worn out place but it has a great personality, awesome staff as well!

Not the nicest

Excellent place, amazing location. They just need to open up a bar downstairs!!

The staff was awesome. Very accommodating when fixing our air and getting us a taxi early in the morning. Room was very squished but that was to be expected.

The location was very nice. They had people clean the room everyday. It's pretty good for a hostel.its good if you're just looking for a bed. Wifi only worked around the common area but at least there is working Internet.

Decent prices but you still get a lot for your money. I think there better places to stay in Athens. Probably wouldn't recommend it but it suites a purpose

Middle of Athens at this price what do you expect!! Grate for a few nights would stay there again for a night but no more. No cooking area!! Good location though

This is a "you get what you pay for" hostel. Its cheep to stay because the facilities and services are at the absolute basic. You don't get sheets or towels, the showers soak the whole bathroom because there is no proper divider, there isn't a kitchen, just a fridge and a microwave (and the tea/coffee service they talk about is just an electric kettle), the bar only opens in the high season, and the bunk beds rock like hammocks. It was fine in the end and the area is great, but it is very basic.

The reception staff were excellent. Lots of renovations meant the other staff were rather surly. The beds clean and it was dirt cheap. Good for backpackers but no one else

Unreliable wifi throughout our stay. Otherwise, great!

Wifi not available in all areas. Bathrooms are not clean and bathroom doors need latch.shower curtains not neat. And water goes outside shower and whole bathroom is wet. Need lockers.

A very affordable hostel for a reason as it was lacking in cleanliness (wet bathroom floor, musky room) and character (no real lobby). However, the staff were nice and helpful and as a single female traveler I felt safe.
