Amazing staff making this an unforgetable stay!

My stay here was the best stay of my whole trip in India. I was lucky enough to be one of the few people in the hostel and spend the time with the manager Sapan and his friend - we had a great time sightseeing and I can't wait to visit again! The fort is absolutely amazing!
Zostel Jodhpur is superb. However a word of caution - domestic Indians generally aren't used to travelers' hostels. Hence the lack of dorm etiquettes. The bunch that checked in on our last night probably mistook the concept to be a regular college students' hostel. They walked in at 10pm and we were already sleeping after a tiring day. Kept the lights on for long and were very noisy. They went out after an hour with the lights still on and came in late being noisy again.
Very friendly staff. Good value for money hostel. It's maybe a little far from the all the main attractions of Jodhpur but the bus picks up right outside the hostel and is cheap and quick. Anybody looking for a hostel in Jodhpur can't go wrong with this place.
Nice place but a bit far, even bus stop is just at the door. As in all Zostels, WiFi sucks. I liked the staff. I would stay again.
Staff were amazing, we had the best laugh of our whole trip to India here as the common room really makes everyone get to know eachother. The hostel was clean and comfortable and food from downstairs was really good. But it was the people that make this hostel so good - thanks to "Dream", "Blue Lotus" + "God" for taking us on a late nite Indian road trip for spicy chicken and chai! Action Jackson next time! Also, they ordered a sports channel for us just so I could watch a Man U match, amazing!!
Big room compared to Zostel Jaipur which made it better. Helpful staff but still, got ripped off on my way to the train station when the receptionist arranged my journey to go there. They always end up wanting their catch which is a bit sad / unfair for the travelers.
Nothing is within walking distance - which means taking an auto/tuk-tuk ride everywhere. You can get a lock from the front desk to put your valuables in a locker and it seems safe enough. The atmosphere is ok, a lot of young people but it doesn't have that buzz that I've experienced in other highly rated hostels. I actually think this is due to the fact that the place itself (outdoor area, rooms, bathrooms esp) aren't very nice. And here's a warning - there's no hot water. Brrr.
Clean and comfortable dorm and common area but really far from the fort and town center. Good place for meeting like minded travelers.
Another great Zostel. Excellent communal space, nice balcony and chilled atmosphere. The restaurant below is tasty and sends your food up (still continuing my search of India to find someone who can fry an egg properly though!) Staff are awesome, especially Sapan - you are a legend my friend! Little far away but excellent regular buses so not a problem. Highly recommend.
We booked here because we had a great time in Zostel in Jaipur, but we were really disappointed ! Except for one guy, the staff was not nice, they spent their time watching bollywood movie in the common area (so nobody except them in this area !!), they didn't talk... The location was really far from the center. The accomodation were not clean at all and the rooms were really small... I will not recommend this hostel to anyone, because it was not jice and way to expensive !!
Finally a legit hostel in India! Keep it up guys (but please skip the servant-attitude, backpackers don't like that)
The best place to be in when you are in Jodhpur. I had heard a lot about this chain of hostels from other travelers, so i took a decision of trying them out in Jodhpur, I must say that these guys are doing an awesome job. Clean European style washrooms with very powerful showers , free and very speedy Wi-Fi. #LoveZostel
To start... We arrived, entered the hostel, walked around, shouted.. nobody came.. Security 0! I had to enter the rooms and find the guy that was supposed to be in the reception sleeping.. Then he said as it was 2AM we have lost our room.. It was only reserved til midnight.. I don't know how right he is since it was paid, and it says the reception is open 24h. Then, we went to that disgusting toilet and on the way back to the room i see a HUGE RAT, so, if you go there.. i wish you luck:)
Perfect stay in jodhpur. Lovely helpfull people working there, nice atmosphere. Not in the city center, but i think that's a plus, because you stay out of the chaos, and a rickshaw ride is cheap. I would definitely recommend this place, as well as all the other zostel places in India!
Zostel was a decent place to stay in Johdpur; good value for money, very clean, comfy beds and decent common area to meet people. However, it's about 10 minutes from the city centre, where tons of hostels/hotels are located, the wifi is dodgy and the staff were uncommunicative and unhelpful. I'd recommend it if you're not worried about paying a little extra for ricksaw rides to/from the city every day - they'll try to scam you but you shouldn't pay more than 80 for a trip.
Had an absolutely wonderful experience here! Very helpful staff and a great atmosphere to spend time in. I wish I could have stayed a few more nights, just to hang out haha. Definitely recommend it if you're stopping through Jodhpur!
Staff were genuinely helpful and did go out of their way to be welcoming. This is hostel is not in a good postion for ease of access to the main sights of the city. However the biggest problem for me were the two rats in the kitchen and the mice running around the floor in the dorm. I recognise that the vermin problem goes wider than the hostel which is above a hotel, but the lack of cleanliness in the kitchen is a problem.
Nice hostel like the other 'Zostels' throughout Rajasthan. Little bit out of the way but a rickshaw ride to where you need to be is cheap. Staff are helpful and friendly.
